Fantastic workhorse of a water purifier
I've been using this for about 4 months and I have to say it is a LIFE SAVER! We live in super low humidity and I was using 3 humidifiers 24/7 and there was this fine white dust EVERYWHERE. It took me about 6 months to figure out what was going on. Obviously buying distilled water for 3 6-gallon humidifiers would be prohibitively expensive. I bought this unit for one of our sinks and a different unit for another sink. I have to say I really like this one a ton better. The other unit utilizes a pressure tank so you can only get a little over a gallon every 30 minutes or so. Not a big deal if you are only drinking, but THIS unit is powered by a pump and you can fill up a humidifier in no time.I keep waiting for the "change filter" lights to go on, but they haven't. I am wondering if the fact that we had power cut offs in the last 4 months has somehow re-set the filter? It's hard to believe it is still functional with the amount of water we've used, but then there is no white dust coming from the humidifiers so I'm assuming it is still chugging away. This is well worth the money. I had a plumber set it up just because I didn't want to mess with it myself, but I can see how it would be a straight forward install for a handy person. Just make sure you have a plug in nearby as the unit does require electricity.Definitely recommend and would buy again!

Impressed even when I need support.
We have had this for a few years now. I just got off the phone with support for an issue i had, since i was looking at my purchase information I figured id circle back and give it a review. This water filter system is a must have.My wife is european and can't stand the taste of the fluoride/chlorine in the water. this filter system does seem to do the job. We did go with having the additional remineralization filter by the same company in line with it to add back in minerals to also aid with the nutrition aspects.I rigged it up in my RV and we fill up water jugs for the house. i might plumb in a hookup so we have an extra tap in the main house when we are not traveling. The reason we had to call support line was a self inflicted issue(we did get a person in less than a minute). The issue was that my wife started filling a jug and walked away, only to return an hour later to a non functioning unit. The Unit goes into self preservation mode. filter lights flashing and the electric bolt not lit. Reset button does nothing.unplugging it and plugging it in is all you need to do...... however you need it unplugged for a full 5 minutes to ensure the capacitors/LEDS have completely dissipated to a fully off state.im impressed that it has the smarts to protect the motor and/or the house from potential water damage. I wish that was better outlined in the manual and would have saved me a call but in the end i'm always impressed with how well this little unit performs.

Customer service
The G2 RO drinking water system did not meet my expectations. After several attempts to fix the problem—including multiple calls to customer service, changing filters, and flushing the system—I was very upset and ready to switch to a system from another manufacturer. Fortunately, I reached out again and was assisted by a very helpful representative named Krystal. She took the time to understand the issue and helped resolve it by offering an upgraded system (G3P600) for an additional charge. Once the new system arrived and was installed, I was pleased to see that it worked great—better than I expected. Now, I can confidently say my family is enjoying the best drinking water we’ve ever had.

Great tasting water, 6.5/10 difficulty installing.
The media could not be loaded. Somewhat tricky to install, and I had to buy a separate part to avoid drilling into my pipes, but was able to get it set up in about 2 hours by myself at 6 months pregnant. To be fair I used to work at an aquarium where I had to work on plumbing all the time. This is an intermediate level install. We’ve had some water quality issues with two boil water notices in the last year and our 1.5 year old hot water heater’s anode rod rusting through due to high levels of sediment, so I decided to take the plunge to get an RO machine. The water tastes so much better than the filtered water from our fridge, and it’s so convenient to have it connected to our sink. We did have to sacrifice our soap dispenser. To install, I first made sure we had a space to drill into the pipes for a drain, but due to the position of our garbage disposal we didn’t have a straight, removable pipe from our p-trap to the wall. I didn’t want to do permanent damage in case we want to replace it or move away, so I contacted water drop and after a few tries we came up with the solution to add a Y drain line connector to our dishwasher drain line that runs into our garbage disposal (https://a.co/d/54CAKHe). This was a great solution so I didn’t have to drill into my pipes. Before you finish installing - measure the lines and cut them down. They are all way too long. I didn’t realize it until I already had it installed and they’re a bitch to take back out once installed. I did end up cutting the red drain line and the RO water line, but couldn’t get the intake line back out so it is still long. I am happy with the results and the customer service and glad to feel safe drinking our water again! Be sure to triple tighten everything before turning the water back on SLOWLY. Photos: 1) faucet 2) video of setup 3) photo of setup 4)where customer service originally advised me to install the drain but as you can see the drain line is glued in so I wouldn’t have been able to replace that section if we move or disconnect the machine. 5) y valve that I bought to avoid drilling into pipe
