I have to refit an 8 mm bolt into a cavity which we have no access to. can this tool be used to insert a rivet nut into the hole. thanks, dr

Typically this should be ok, you will require a sound surface to pull the rivnut onto, to make it work, but otherwise should work.

Where can I buy m5 replacement for this? (Uk)

Hi Clare, Not too sure what exactly you are asking. The tool itself has mandrels for M5 Rivet Nuts and M5 Nuts are readily available through Amazon and others (Screwfix, Jewson,etc...).

Annoyingly mine came with zero instructions in the box. Are they online anywhere?

Don't think so, they are straight forward to use, but the smaller size ones don't need to much pressure or the mandrel could break.
