International Concepts Counter Height Mission Table, 24 by 48-Inch, Unfinished

This is my 2nd product from this company and I love both pieces, though I only gave this table 5 stars simply because the predrilled holes in both Apron bars were not drilled correctly, so the screws could barely penetrate the wood top, making the whole table weak. Thankfully, my son is coming over after work to see what we can do to fix the issue. Other than that, its a beautiful piece that matches the desk. I will still buy from this seller though, because you cant beat the quality for the price!

I can’t say enough good things about this product. It’s beautiful hardwood. It’s not stained and I may stain it in the future. I bought it for the natural color. For now it’s lovely. It’s heavy and sturdy. I put the chair together without an issue. The chair is also from International Concepts. The table, being heavy, was difficult to manage so I received assistance from my husband. Not due to weight, but bulky. Our kitchen is an alley style. Very little countertop space. I purchased this to use for planning, a quick meal and to extend our counter. In addition, I purchased a rigid piece of Lexan from Amazon, 24” x 48” to protect the top. I also purchased a similar sized silicone mat to use for cooking/baking and putting hot and or messy food prep items on it. Multi use and beautiful, I love love love it!!

Easy for two people to assemble, although I'm a 62 year old female and did it by myself. Just took a little longer. Beautiful sturdy heavy table with one minor flaw. I stained the top and painted the bottom. While staining the top, I discovered a small area that wouldn't take the stain. Looks like a small plug of some sort made from plastic or something. Doesn't detract too much from my love for this table. 4 stars instead of 5 due to the mar in the table top.

I looked at a lot of tables before I decided on this one. I don't know if my review is going to be very helpful to anyone who just wants a table, since I bought it specifically to modify it. But so far as construction and durability go, this table is putting up with a lot of abuse so far.The house I rent has a very awkwardly laid out kitchen, which made the only place for my chest freezer the middle of the room. So the top of the freezer ended up being a makeshift island, with stuff on top of it all the time. Getting anything out of the freezer became a hassle, because you would have to move everything off just to open it. So I got this table, added some casters and two cross-pieces in the back, and BOOM! - kitchen island. (Actually, it was a little more involved - in order to use the wheels I had on hand, I had to cut down the legs a bit, and I also had to add a quarter inch bit of wood to the end of each apron piece to fit the length of the freezer, for anyone interested.) So this table not only takes the abuse of a family kitchen island, it also rolls back and forth across my kitchen several times a week and has still held up for over a year.It is unfinished, and I keep telling myself I'm going to paint it or stain it, but so far I've just finished the top with some oil and beeswax, since it is used for food prep. Would definitely buy wooden furniture from this company again.

Nice table I’m using it for laundry room but it did not come with instructions nor screws to put table together. I didn’t want to send it back because I love the table so I’ll be going to Home Depot to purchase screws since someone was kind enough to post the instructions page. Disappointing they didn’t include all items.

Planning to use this table for sewing. I like to sit on a stool to sew and work up close. Got a chair to match. So happy, staining to match my bedroom set.
