My child loves it!!! The colors are great and seem to be fairly long-lasting. The brushes are durable (haven't broken any yet lol), the little pallet topper is great for mixing any and ALL colors. Just a really great set for my little people!!! I actually bought one for myself because it's such a great little set.Recommend buying and I will buy again!!

I bought these for my granddaughter and she had a wonderful time painting. The colors are varied and vibrant. I don't know how they would work for an adult, but they are great for children.

This would be a great set for kids. There are lots of colors, so you don't have to blend colors together much to get the color you want and it is quite inexpensive. However, the result is pretty chalky and opaque, rather than the translucence of a higher quality watercolor. If you want something with a better result that is still in the student range go with the Winsor & Newton Cotman Water Colour Paint Compact Set, Set of 14. It's about $21 here on Amazon.

I bought these watercolors for my son who is 6 and they are a great set! They blend nicely, there's a great variety of colors in the palette and I'm super happy with the quality for the cost.

My 9 & 6 year olds LOVE these paints! The colors are bright. The paints are easy to use. They beg to paint every day!

The arrangement of the colors makes it difficult for children to avoid dripping from one cup to another - all in a line works better (though I know it's hard to do for this many colors) but overall a great product, certainly excellent on a cost/benefit basis
