Crescent 10" Wide Jaw Adjustable Wrench - ATWJ210VS

Requested return. Twice. Recieved and they are covered in some sort of glue/ oil that appears to be a byproduct of manufacture. Will wait for replacement to see if this is a repeated issue and update reviewRecieved second set with same issue. Don't know what type of grease they use to lubricate the screw but it's more like an adhesive. Look elsewhere

Nice wrench. Wider opening make the wrenches more versatile. Scale on the side of the wrench is helpful. Grippers have small groves and it does aid in gripping. Able to lock up tight on nuts with the adjuster. Solid product, but the jaws are a little thin for severe use. Should hold up for home and auto use for the rest of my life and look good doing it.

"Wide Jaw" ha. Opens to 1 1/16 that is exactly 1/16 more then my Husky 6" adjustable not labeled Wide Jaw. I love Crescent Wrench but this is not worth the money in my humble opinion.

Awesome seller. Fair price. Fast shipping. Can't say enough about this wrench. I work on a 6,000 acre farm as there mechanic. I carry this in a double pouch on my belt with a pliers. The EXTRA wide jaws have saved me many a trip back to tho tool box!! It's sturdy and high quality!

I was very disappointed that the wrench I received don't open to 1-1/2 inch's as advertised, so I contacted Crescent about it and they sent me a new one, the second wrench works as advertised, but is of lower quality as far as tooling is considered then the first wrench. I am happy with the purchase and do recommend buying one, but I do wish I had gotten a wrench that work probably like the second wrench and was as nicely tool as the first wrench I got.

When I find that I need to perform a quick repair and I am not near my set of sockets and wrenches, I just pull out my Crescent Adjustable Wrenches...........A quick turn, and I'm good to go. A must have for any toolbox.

Many adjustable wrenches only have three sides, Crescent has the "V" to grip four walls of the nut. Love that! No rounding off corners with these.

This is a wrench you would expect to find in the 99 cent bin at Walmart. It looks good in the pictures and sounds like quality in the description, but don't be fooled, it's junk from China.
