this floor lamp is great for my country decor family room. the light is adjustable up or down so I can position it just where I want it for reading or watching tv. very nice look, sturdy and a great price!

It was USA made and is sturdy. Very east to assemble.

I have been wanting to find a map like for several years. My parents had one or two when I was growing up, and it just reminds me of my childhood. I am happy with the sturdiness of the lamp and the value, and, of course, the adjustable arm. I had bought another one that was not as well made and cost more than twice as much. Coupled with a shade from a vendor suggested by another purchaser, I am all set.

Before I took it out of the box I could see places where the paint had come off. I should not have to touch it up right from the get go. Sending it back.

A nice looking lamp and I like the fact that it's made here. It is also very easy to assemble and the price is right. The only problem is that it is very wobbly. When you put the base together, the legs don't stand firmly on the ground. i put something under one of them to stabilize it but ideally, the legs should stand evenly and firmly on the ground. it seems like this might be an easy enough fix in the manufacturing. I am not sending it back because I like the way it looks and I can live with sticking something on the bottom to stabilize it.

Even though we put the lamp together properly, it was still unbalanced. We tried stepping on it as per directions. We fixed the unbalanced issue by using felt furniture pads under the necessary legs to balance it. You must remember that this is handmade. Beautiful lamp in our colonial setting. Very pleased with the purchase.

I am very pleased with the sturdy construction of this lamp. It was very easy to put together.
