This was the first time I, for one, have ever been brought to tears by doughnuts. They're that good. Fingers crossed for a third in this series -- I can't wait to see what Tristan does next.

You need this book!! My son loved both of this authors books! They are funny and engaging! He has never been someone who has read for fun and one day I forced him to choose a book at Barnes and Noble to read for summer. One of the books he chose was the Doughnut Fix and he read it twice!! Then we looked up the author to be disappointed that it was only her first book ( I was hoping for a series lol). When we found out about the Doughnut King we pre ordered it and he counted down the days until it would get here! We are praying that this author keeps writing! Your kiddo will love this book and fun recipes! My son made us the Molten Lava Chocolate cakes Mmmm!!!

Loved the sequel as much as the Donut Fix. It was a great read-aloud for remote learning. I even made some of the recipes on zoom with the kids.

What a joy to receive long awaited sequel to The Doughnut Fix. Tristan’s adventures in The Doughnut King are as entertaining and educational as in the first book of the series, unexpected twists and turns of the story will keep young readers on the edge of their seats.Wonderful storytelling from Jessie Janowitz. Highly recommended!

I bought this book without my son's knowledge,hoping that he would enjoy reading it. My son said that this book is very interesting. It was a lot better than he thought it would be.
