DR pure blues bass guitar strings have great tone and are easy to play.

Glad I tried them!
First time using these strings, and I’m glad I did! They sound great. Punchy, and articulate. Everything I want my bass sound to be. Slightly more expensive than what I’ve used in the past, but so far, I think they’re worth it. Haven’t had them on long enough to gauge their longevity, but I’m anticipating they will last. I’ve already ordered a second set, and put them on one of my other basses. Very happy with this purchase!

Great sound and feel, love the brightness
I've been using RotoSound Swing Bass 66 (RS66LD) on my Music Man Stingray for years and decided to give these a try after my guitar tech gave them a shout-out (he's a huge fan of Victor Wooten as am I). I play for my church so the bass gets a lot of stage time and practice time and I'm finding them as bright as the Roto Sounds but with a better low-end feel as well. Softer on the fingers as well...

Great Strings
DR are my new favorite string company. I'm using 3 different types of their strings now, and the Pure Blues are great for if you like the feel of NPS strings (smooth and warm) but still want the punch of stainless steel. Again, these do exactly what DR says they do.

bright and punchy on full tone knob, and warm and mellow on tone knob down. versatile strings with a lot of lows.

i usually play elixirs, but they are expensive and hard to find for the last year plus, so i bought some pure blues. i love the way they sound and feel. not to mention they arent too expensive.
