You can detach the joy cons and use them wirelessly. The directional pad was good and is responsive. Holding the joy cons attached to the tablet is good in short stints but will give you a neck cramp playing inside a vehicle. After that the controller quality quickly deteriorates. The Y B X A buttons are extremely cheap and take a while getting used to. There's about a quarter second lag in the press of the button which quickly becomes a nuisance. The L and R buttons are practically unusable. There's no spring whenever depressed and they're basically buttons that have a clicking sound. To someone who plays games like Super Mario Odyssey or Super Mario 3D All Stars and relies on using the L2 button to do long jumps this is highly unacceptable. It was frustrating trying to do a long jump knowing the controller is designed poorly. The vibration feedback felt cheap but to be fair so does the official Nintendo Switch's rumble features.

Works mostly just like the originals, however one big difference is that these controllers are wider than the stock controllers which prevents it from being used in certain accessories made for Nintendo controllers such as steering wheels or others where you slide both controllers into 1 accessory to form 1 controller.Also the left controller has a plus sign instead of buttons through works the same as the buttons on Nintendo made controller.

I bought these without reading that they will not fit the small controller and they will also not fit in the switch case because they are too wide. Now I’m having a problem with them not starting up the switch. I have to take them off then start the switch then put them back on. I should have bought the more expensive ones from Nintendo. Not sure how long they will last. Thought I was getting a bargain.

They work find but if you try to play from a dock they dont like to pair. You continually have to reconnect them it's a bit of a hassle. And they di not fit in to the grey joy con controller grip for when the switch system is in the dock (The thing that makes the 2 independent joy cons into a controller). Bought these bc daughter had dropped originals and broken one. Didnt want to pay 80 for it to happen again.

Yo this broke asap. Has joycon drift, buttons don’t always work. Was hyped by the reviews. Buttons sometimes need to be double pressed. Some stop working entirely. The joycons don’t work. All around wack. Don’t recommend. Was disappointed.

After a full charge the controllers worked great, then after a few days one controller stopped fully functioning. would only work while attached to the switch so if you took the controller off it would not work. Reached out to support as this is the 2nd time with the same seller but never received a response.i would NOT recommend this controller or seller.

They worked good the first few weeks and then one went out it would stop and would have to take it off and click it back in and now one dosnt even turn on at all I should have just not been cheep my husband said I bought the pertection thinking it was a good deal but not when the product is going to not work after the first 3 weeks of having them I dont want to keep returning them to get fixed

Definitely value for money, no drift on sticks. I had the Nintendo switch tablet refurbished i found here in Amazon and bought these controllers...saved ton of money. Ended up buying Smash Brothers with the money I saved. Came with rechargeable wires usb. Long battery life
