Not Satisfied
There was little help available from this book on the seismic exam, held on April 21, 2007.Most of the questions were outside the scope of this book, or even the other Lindberg's books on seismic course. The book is ok, but if I didn't pass the seismic exam, I certainly would buy some other book, as I can't rely on this book alone.

A must if taking the Seismic portion of the CA PE
Great practice exams! Used in conjuction with Seismic Design of Building Structures: A Professionals Introduction to Earthquake Forces and Design Details by Michael R. Lindeburg should help even those without seismic background (such as myself) to pass the PE.

I do not recommend. Too many errors.
This book is just not all that great. I took practice exam I and thought it was okay, then I took practice exam II and it is filled with errors. Confusing questions and bizarre reasoning. I found the EET book to be much better.

Great Book
Book was very useful for studying for the seismic exam. There was a broad range of questions with varying difficulty.

Problems are filled with errors.
I was using this book to prep for the October 2009 Seismic Exam in California, and the example problems are filled with errors. It is maddening trying to evaluate yourself when you're finding mistakes in half the problems. For how much they charge for these guides, I'd have expected them to at least work through the problems and perhaps proof read the answers.
