Birds love it
This bird feeder holds a little more than 5 cups of feed. Several birds at one time can enjoy the feeder. It's a very nice design and easy to open and close.

FROM ANGRY BIRDS TO CHEERFUL BIRDS
The price was great. I was a little concerned about the string attached to the lid. I thought that it wouldnt hold the weight of the food and birds and possibly collapse to the ground. To my surprise, i have been using this all summer and the feeder hasnt detached from the lid. I attached this to a shepherds hook but you could also buy a gardening S hook and attach the hook to a tree branch then attach the feeder's string to the hook. The only con about this feeder is that the birds love it and now every day i have over 100 birds in my yard. This has caused bird poop on my vehicles, mulch, and porch and has caused me to buy 20lb bags of food weekly. These birds need to go on a diet. LOL My 6 year old has autism and he loves watching the birds flock to our yard all throughout the day. It's even peaceful for adults to watch.

Birds love it!
Though didn't have birds right away like some videos show, I have noticed a huge increase in birds in my yard! All the birds my feed has said I will see have shown up. Whether they eat from the tray or decide to peck the feed that occasionally falls to the ground when the wind blows hard. Be aware of placement though. If a squirrel can climb the pole holding it or jump from a near by tree. The squirrels can reach the food. Actually saw one jump from a tree, land on the trap, and the roof pop off! I may have not fully secured the roof to the base, but it was definitely a sight to see! I moved the tray, trimmed the tree, and now zero squirrels! Great price and so glad to see birds in the back yard!

cute little bird feeder
This is a nice bird feeder that looks like it costs much more. It's fairly sturdy and has been holding up well so far to the usual bird traffic as well as squirrels trying to sneak some food here and there. The bottom tray is slightly flimsy and warped but it still looks OK. Make sure to clean the feeder ASAP in case birds leave droppings on it. A small part of the roof is lightly stained because I didn't get to it in time. Otherwise, I'm happy with my purchase.

I just donโt like the top
This feeder is hard to rate. Itโs a good price, the little birds like it , itโs easy to fill and it keeps the seeds dry.Itโs very lightweight plastic and the roof is a hassle ( to me) to get on right. Twice I thought I screwed it on correctly and as I carried it out the roof came loose and I spilled seeds. A Pileated woodpecker landed on it and stabbed his huge beak into the little hole and I was sure heโd break it. ( that problem was fixed when I put out suet cakes nearby). Not hard to clean except where the seeds come out. I would never gift it because your friend might not like the same things I donโt like. Get them something nicer and prettier

pleasantly surprised
We bought this feeder to replace one that we'd had for 20 years and which had blown off its hook and broken several times. The old one was a lot more expensive than this one so I didn't have too high expectations, figured it wouldn't cost too much to replace it if it fell apart. I was very pleasantly surprised. It holds a lot, it has a tough wire cord, it seems to be squirrel-proof, it has a smaller "footprint" and didn't blow away or even lose its seeds when we had a very strong wind. Definitely exceeded my expections. I still have one worry, which is that the lid (you add seeds by unscrewing the lid) has a press-and-turn fit. I'm a bit nervous that over time of twisting in the wind it may somehow loosen and come off. However, it's just a worry and has not happened so far. Thus, so far I'm quite pleased!

Serviceable but not made for long-term use
Fairly simple product. It hangs. It holds bird feed. Birds can eat food. The plastic is thin and cheap, especially on the bottom. My first time cleaning it one of the plastic tabs broke and it now has a sag on one side. Do not expect this to last multiple seasons. I have a hummingbird feeder that goes up when it's warm and will not be using this again next fall/winter. I will pay a little more to get one that is more sturdy. So, it works as intended. Do not expect it to weather multiple seasons. Plastic tabs are an issue due to the thin plastic. Looks nice and the birds enjoy the food inside.

Great bird feeder
This is our second bird feeder of the same style. Somehow a clip broke off, but kept it and purchased another one just like it to put in another location.Unfortunately, we had to return this well made feeder due to a rodent infestation in our area. The birdseed was too good to resist, obviously. We gave it to a charity Op Shop, still in the original packaging, and hope once this problem is over, we will be once again looking for another feeder. The design was wonderful and it was always attracting small birds which was exactly what we wanted.

It's GARBAGE
When I first got this, I noticed it was irritating to try and fix the lid/roof on (and that was on my work bench), but I figured well it's here now, might as well give it a try. I put it up on a platform that I needed a small stool to reach. Filled it with seed and went to put the top back on. I tried it again and again and again, settle it on and twist to lock. Would not catch and hold. Then one of the 'feet' broke, and then the other, and that's when I lost it and smashed it with my fist. Now I'm usually a pretty laid back fellow, and it takes a lot to drive me to that. So, even if you're calmer than I, you will likely face similar frustration with this piece of garbage. My advice is, don't buy it.

how much food does this hold
it is a nice feeder but not nearly big enough. I have to fill it every day. when advertising you should tell how many cups of food they hold.
