Psychological Types: The Psychology of Individuation

Fascinating
Wonderful book! Of all that I have read of Jung, this is he most systematic, clear and fascinating. Highly recommended.

Epochal work
It is in Jung's usual rambling style, but the chapter on types is reasonably well focused. I would recommend reading Jacobi's introduction to Jung first. His typology is radical and will stand the test of time.

Ugly typeface and cover, missing paragraph numbering, mutilated table of contents
This refers to the paperback with shoes and diving flippers on the atrociously ugly cover. Routledge have done a terrible job with this version of what otherwise is a fascinating work. They shortened the originally detailed table of contents, making it harder to find specific sections of the sometimes 100 page-long chapters. They chose to leave out the paragraph numbering in the margins, meaning that you can't look up references to the book. Even more embarrasingly, there are footnotes in the book referring to other parts of the book using the paragraph numbering system. This is a good book but avoid this edition.
