Olmsted Forge Hand Saw with 9" Blade

Purchased this saw to get into older bushes to give them a good prune. As a woman in her 60’s who has lost a lot of upper arm and hand strength I was worried I wouldn’t be able to prune thick branches without calling my husband out. This saw worked perfectly, cut through thick branches easily. Was able to maneuver through to get the branch I wanted because the saw was narrow enough. A WINNER of a purchase.

Works like a charm. Cuts super smooth with little effort. Very light and almost unnoticeable. Thought handle was weird at first but compared to other small saws, I found it helped fight hand fatigue. I have no complaints after using this saw for about an hour straight in the cold rain.

The saw was amazing at tree pruning. It was easy to use when I was up in a tree. The weight of the saw was like it was not even on my belt.

Nice saw for the price. Great silent sheath.

I have had many good saws and many bad ones. This one is a great one. Keep the blade and teeth oiled and it will last a lifetime. I wish the big box stores would stop selling junk and start selling products like this. The fit and finish on this saw is light years ahead of the cheap junk sold at home improvement stores.
