Well made American classic!

I bought this keychain to have a similar looking, easiliy removable fob on my work briefcase. The Saddleback bag comes with a great permanent strap and clip, but I wanted something that looked similar to use to attach my keys. Saddleback does not offer a good option for this solution.The hardware is as close to an exact match as it comes...might even be the same. The leather is the same quality and almost the same color.I was honestly shocked. I don't write reviews often. But wether you have a Saddleback bag or not, this is worth twice what Main Street Forge is charging.Great work guys.

Well made

This is a beautifully made item, clearly high quality and very good value for the workmanship. I found it a little bit difficult to maneuver the clasp, which may be intended so that it doesn’t come undone, but for my use it made it not a good fit and I opted not to return. Did not seem right, given the high quality and there is nothing wrong with the item. It just doesn’t work for what I wanted it for. Perhaps the maker would consider making a tether for keys to keep them handy inside a purse. I have seen other sellers offering such an item, but they are very poor quality. I would definitely by from this maker again knowing the quality and reasonable price. Perhaps they will make a key tether intended to attach to a purse!! ;-)

The squeeze opening releases the key ring easier than other styles. Just not sure how robust it is. Looks good, though.

This is a well made item. It fits a man's average width work belt just fine & have no issues on extra wide belt. The leather is high quality. The rivet is a large heavy duty & it's not going to come apart neither will the mechanism itself. I've been using it for maybe 6 months now. I have no complaints.
