Pretty good
This is a fine tool. It's heavy, well-built, and impresses me as good quality. I'm sure it will deliver many years of good service. Well worth the cost.Things that I would have liked to have known, though:It's large, and slightly heavy. With the collector box on the back, it's about 8" from tip to back. Without the collector, it's still about 6". So, it doesn't fit into tight spaces very well. The ratcheting action is good. In use, you place the rivet, push the handle of the tool forward, put it on the rivet stem, and pull. As you squeeze the 'trigger', the tool stays in place, flush to the rivet face. None of that 'release, press the tool down, and squeeze again' sort of action. Most rivets set in four or five 'squeezes'. The stem breaks off, you tip the tool backward, and press the handle forward to release the stem into the 'catcher'. If you release the stem with the tool pointed down, it just falls out-so you need to use gravity to catch them in tool.Nozzles are stored in the back of the plastic catcher container. There's a flat wrench that slides in some slots on the back of the plastic thing. Under that, there's storage for two nozzles (there are three total). To change a nozzle, you slide out the wrench, drop out the nozzles. Ratchet back the jaws a little, remove the nozzle on the tool, replace with the size you need, and then slide the two nozzles back into the hole on the back of the container. Slide in the wrench to cover and store.Sometimes the stem container gets displaced while actuating-by my hand-because of position or grip. It does just slide on-friction keeping it in place. It has a few idiosyncrasies, but nothing terrible. It's functional, and I'd say compares well to Cherry hand riveters for quality. Came with a parts list, and everything is replaceable for service, if needed.

and the best hand riveter i have used
Same gun some tool trucks and Inductrial supply houses sell, and the best hand riveter i have used. Ratchet action is great, built in stud catcher, replaceable Nose Pieces for different rivet sizes, built in storage and tool for changing said nose pieces. all adds up to one tool you can carry that will set just about any rivet.

Nice Riveter...
Easy to use with weak hands and in odd positions. Very good feature with the mandrel catcher and storage of different size heads and handy wrench. Looks like all the parts are replaceable and well built. Look forward to many years of use.Already used it for Olympic rivets on our vintage Airstream Safari.
