Great flavor, has a "grated" surface which holds on to pasta sauce unlike general USA pastas
Nothing to dislike. Great flavor and the best way to appreciate your fabulous homemade pasta sauce!!!!!

Cavatappi is a great pasta to use with sauces, but can't be found in my local grocery stores.
Wonderful pasta shape for many dishes, and De Cecco is always flavorful and cooks up just right. Impossible to find in stores in my area; even when they carry De Cecco, they don't carry this shape.

The best in dried macaroni
We love all the DeCecco macaroni products. Aside from making pasta from scratch (which I do) my Italian husband likes this brand best of all. I agree. Cooks up very nicely to the teeth and tastes great. We particularly like the Cavatappi shape because it takes on such a wide variety of sauces. So we like to have plenty in the pantry.

Sturdy, tasty, reliable!
De Cecco always cooks up just right and is full of durham flavor. We use the Cavatappi shape because it holds so much sauce and it's sturdy - so it's our go-to for our mac & cheese. It's great in soups, too.

Boxes opened
The boxes arrived taped together and the individual boxes had been opened. I tried to return or get a refund and it was denied.

Best Pasta
I cannot find this pasta anywhere but on Amazon. They are large spiral type pastas with a really great texture. I serve them with a creamy sauce and veggies. I also trust this Italian brand for being non-GMO.

Good pasta, long wait
De Cecco is one of my favorite pasta brands and this order delivered on the quality I expect from this company, and at a great price. It did, however, take about six months to get to me.

A better mac and cheeze
Though it's really not a macaroni, it's shape and it's ability to hold cheese sauce makes it superior as the sauce goes inside and it's a nice bite size piece of pasta, being about three times larger than a macaroni. Here's a very simple recipe for Cavatappi and Cheeze. Use Trader Joe's Shredded Mexican Blend cheese mixed into a very warm Organic heavy cream. Not too thick or thin (use either more cheese or cream to change the consistency). De Cecco's pastas are the best dried pastas.
