Kava Root Powder - Tongan Noble Premium Natural Kava Tea Drink, Calming Stress Relief, 16oz

From what I can tell this is Excellent kava. The first time I took it I didn't really feel effects... But I'm pretty sure it was because I was full of food. The next day I took it first thing when I woke up. There was a sense of euphoria and happiness. I wouldn't say that was caused by this but I will say it was enhanced by this kava. I wouldn't say this is a mellow strain tho it did help with my anxiety . I would definitely say this kava has an uplifting effect rather than a super chill effect. All in all it was a good purchase for sure. Definitely a good Tongan kava for all day sipsAlso the bag it came in was a much cheaper bag... And not one pictured. I feel like the packaging missed the mark but the kava was definitely worth purchasing.

I would say it’s alright. It seems to be a little weaker than what I normally get. But there is a little numbing effect which is supposed to be a sign it has a good amount of kavalactones. So it could have been just me. The price for it is on the cheaper end of what I have seen comparatively on amazon.

I'm not normally one to write a negative review. However, I have had all kinds of strains of kava from many reputable vendors and this is probably the worst kava I have ever tasted. I couldnt even get past the taste of one serving, and that's saying something!

This product works like a charm! Super effective and high quality. I just make a batch and leave it in the fridge and shake before drinking at night.

I primarily use the wakacon kava, which I understand to be more balanced when it comes to heady/heavy, and gives good effects for the price. I got some other brand of Tongan kava but didn't really notice much, and felt like I was missing out, and a little cheated out of my money. I really wanted to experience something heady, so I gave this a try. Its a good price. I'm on my second bag. I have to use 6 tbsp to have noticeable effects, so it doesn't seem as strong as what I normally use, OR heady effects are just more subtle by nature so it takes more to really feel it. What I experience is a lightness - a sort of clear, bright, light calmness and relaxation. It wasn't really a feeling of intoxication, but pleasurable. Packaging is a little flimsy and somewhat easily punctured. Overall decent for the price, and I'd recommend it. I also like to mix half and half with my other kava for a different balance of effects. To the seller: Keep this available please. The price point was a major factor in my decision, but is an even better value proposition for me now since I likes the effects. I plan to buy again.

I bought this when my usual sold out. I’ve been drinking kava for years. I prefer Tonga cuz it’s not so heavy and always me to relax while still getting things done. This one is the real deal. Effects are classic and a terrific bargain. Already re-ordered. 5 Stars!!
