Easy to assemble and sturdy! I had been looking for ladder shelves for some time now and constantly feared that it wouldn't fit over my baseboard heaters but I was very pleasantly surprised by these units. They were well packed and delivered in pretty compact pacakages. Upon building them and standing them up against the wall, I was legitimately OVERJOYED that they cleared the baseboard heaters. Not only that, but there's room to spare over so I may still be able to use the heaters without having a direct fire hazard (to be determined). All in all, they look great and have excellent capacity! They fit nicely into my industrial theme and I'm very happy with the purchase.

I have this small space right outside my bathroom between my bedroom and my living room that I was originally using to store towels and other bathroom items. I had a plastic bin there and I replaced it with this ladder shelf. I measured before I purchased and this shelf fit the space perfectly. It was fairly simple to put together and I was able to do this whole thing myself. Looks nice on the wall and after bolting it on with 3 screws to the wall it doesn't budge at all. It allowed me to use all the space and I am able to fit so much more in that small space. The holes on each shelf are reinforced with a metal piece and the wood is very sturdy. Solid piece of furniture that looks nice in my home. Very pleased with this purchase.

It looks good for a small office area but I am a little concerned about putting a lot of books on the shelves because I do not want to break it. I read the product description as 60lbs per shelf not 60lbs total so completely my fault. But it looks great! I just have to be cautious of the amount of books put on the shelves.

This was super easy to assemble and it’s pretty light for the most part. It feels super sturdy as well. Instructions were a bit confusing at first, but it’s super simple and easy to figure out after some organizing of everything.

I purchased this shelf to go with another (of a different brand no longer sold on Amazon). In the pictures they looked identical, the dimensions as well, but when I opened it they were clearly miles apart. The metal on this shelf is so thin and cheap. We you turn the screws with the provided tools they bend the metal or make it dip! I had to bend and force the metal back into shape multiple times to make this shelf useable. This shelf is also smaller then I had thought, the rails don't clear the wall as much as I had hoped and over all it is narrower. The "wood" shelves are also very poorly laminated, you can't tell in the photo but it is clearly separated at the corners.Once together (1.5hr process due to the metal bending) it looks okay and is useable.I would have returned it if I have realized in time. It delivered the same weekend we moved into our new house and life happened causing me to not be able to put it up until a few days after the return window had closed. That's my bad.UPDATE: The seller reached out and offered to give me a discount on the price I paid for the item. The discount was reasonable and overall I'm now satisfied with the purchase. My original review review was 2 stars because of the quality, customer service was worth 2 more themselves.

I am so happy with these shelves. I was looking at the same style from CB2 (which run $200+ per shelf), so I decided to give these a try. Really quick to assemble, especially if you have a hex bit for your power drill instead of using the allen wrench that comes with it. The wood veneer is beautiful and realistic, and they feel very sturdy. A couple brackets for the shelves were slightly bent upon arrival, but nothing that didn't straighten out once the shelves were attached. Definitely recommend these, especially if you've been eyeing the CB2 original.

Great shelf, very sleek and attractive. Easy to assemble, but be aware that you have to put it all together on the floor and then lift it off the floor before drilling the holes in the wall. I am very petite and was able to do it by myself, just so you know. It looks great once up and has good storage capacity in a relatively small space.

Super impressed. Came with directions. Had it together in 30 minutes. I did have to find studs to put it into the wall but was up in no time. Super sturdy. I have 6’3 ceilings so this photo may make the bookshelf look taller than what it is. Really beautiful in the space. Customer service was awesome. Shipping in Canada was really slow and they answered right away when emailed!

I’m writing a longer review because I was seriously spiralling looking for a decent ladder shelf. Between the various reviews of different brands and models across platforms — warning of crooked, scratched, cheap, terrible to put together — it was hard to decide on the right one.This one was a pleasant surprise, however — not insanely expensive, but not the cheapest of the bunch. Even so, I found there were a couple small quirks that I had to get around, and some answers to questions that I had while searching:1. Packaged thoroughly and carefully. Every piece was protected and labelled clearly.2. The shelf boards are nice — they have a good finish, a light texture, and I found one chip/scratch, but that might have been me. The edges ARE a touch raw but I can live with that. And, if I can’t, I’ll settle the great F down and grab a brown marker.3. The metal posts are nice. Finished with a powder coating, they look clean and durable.4. Two of the screws didn’t line up for the shelves. So I screwed in 18/20 (be patient, it’s tedious work), and I’m sure they’ll be ok. More than that and I would have complained.5. The shelf, when fully assembled, IS crooked. I think that the “straightness” comes from our ability to install it straight. Take your time, line it up and make sure you have someone keep an eye on where it should shift into place and then use anchors and fasten it to the wall securely.6. The anchors are flimsy and impossible. Don’t even bother. Use your own.7. Because I had to manipulate it and then screw it in, will it spring from the office wall a la a Looney Tunes short while I’m working? I don’t think so..?All in all, I’m pretty happy with this! Would I have loved the $249 version? Yup. Would it have been perfectly straight and spotless? It had better be.But that price is not in the cards currently, and this option is reasonable, spacious without being in overwhelming, nice-looking, and the instructions were clear. I assembled and installed it on my own in about an hour.

Was looking for a decent shelf for this little nook in our livingroom. It takes 2 people to put this shelf together, and a little finesse. BUT, its sturdy, good quality for the price, and looks perfect for what we needed it for. I'd buy it again.
