Love the glasses, but hate the nose pads on the newer models
About a year ago I bought my first set. Loved them. But as time goes glasses tend to get a beating, so I ordered a new set. That's when things were not the same.On the new set, the nose pads keep falling off. Embarrassing when this happens when I'm at a restaurant trying to view the menu and I am staring at the floor to see if I spot where one of the nose pads landed. On my older set, this never happened. So I compared them under a strong light and magnifying glass, and I quickly spotted the difference. The difference is that they changed on how the pads sit on the bridge. On my older set, they use tiny screws to keep them in place. On the new set they are no longer using screws. They are simply snap-ons.So now you gotta be extra careful when using them. Because if you lose the pads, well your nose will be against metal. Why they changed the design is beyond me. So this is why I give them now only 2 stars.UPDATE:Amazon sent me a new pair, and guess what? Those have the nose pads with screws like my older set. So now it's great again! Increasing it to 4 stars.I dunno why there are two different versions of this model: Foster Grant Men's Sawyer Multifocus Rectangular Reading Glasses - but if you get the ones with snap-on nose pads, get rid of them. See if you manage to get the ones with screws on, those pads will never pop off. Good luck!P.S. What I did notice also a change that these two different versions came wrapped in bubble plastic and the glasses were inside a zipped plastic bag. Where I recall my first set a year ago or more -- it came in those sealed plastic cases -- so I don't know why the package quality has also degraded.

GOOD GLASSES FOR THE PRICE
I have been using these for years and I do have a love/hate relationship with them. They work well and since I don't need glasses for distance it's nice to not be constantly taking them off to see distance. The quality is mediocre., nose pads can break, and the frames will stretch after a while. The biggest problem is the lenses are plastic and will scratch up over time especially if you throw them in your pocket or use paper towels to clean them like I do. That being said if you are careful with the lenses, they will usually last a few months, and if they do get scratched a plastic or aluminum polish with a light grit will bring them back to decent shape.

Lenses scratch to Easy
I want to like this product, but this is my 3rd pair and within a week I noticed a scratch. I have been very careful trying not to scratch the lenses but obviously these lenses are very delicate for even light duty.

Limited distance vision
I have a few pairs of this type of glasses. This brand is the heaviest and thickest. They are created to limit clear vision only out to about 8-10 feet. Happier with other brands that allow for greater distance vision so you’re not flipping them up and down so often as you attend meetings or walk through the hallways.

Nice looking
These do not have the lens clarity of less expensive readers I have purchased but they do look good.

I can see.
These glasses work as well as my 500.00 prescription glasses do. The only drawback is that the lenses are thicker which makes the entire eyeglasses heavier and if I wear them for hours and hours at a time they have a tendency to make the bridge of my nose sore. Other than that they're great

See both near and far! One pair of glasses.
This is my 2nd pair. My first pair is about 5 years old and they are still working, but the lenses do have some scratches, and though the earpieces have never broken, the springs have given up. They are my daily-wear glasses (cheaper than a trip to the optometrist) so they are durable and comfortable. They do take a little getting used to - like a bit or motion sickness at first. But hey, the price point is right, and one pair of glasses for most purposes is just what I needed.

Nice reading glasses!
Glasses are very nice, lightweight and stylish. My girlfriend says I look hot. You should buy these too. :-)

Practical, good optical qualities, scratches easily, for larger faces
There are so many options out there, and I've tried a number of them.. I've purchased two of these for two reasons: (1) Reliable product, name brand. (2) Scratches easily, so want a replacement as necessary. If you have a small face, I'd advise against this product. Also, like most of mass-produced readers, it scratches easily which is very frustrating. The reason I'd recommend this is that it is a reliable, useful product with good optics. Not a fashion look, though.

Optical qualities not so good
I bought these for computer display and paper work as I use 2 different reader strengths for both and didn’t want to keep switching glasses for each. I find them the be a bit too blurry to use and not as sharp as single strength readers though the multifocus strengths are the right range for me. I hoped for better quality from Foster Grant.

Good, but cheap frames always get damaged
FosterGrant needs to come out with a line of flexible, more abuse-resistant frames. These lenses work great, but the second you don't use a case the frames are falling apart. The readers I get from Costco with flexible frames are WAY better, and half the price.

So so
Unfortunately was not clear(pun) in multiple focus point at what level. And usually I tend to trust pricing, the price tag was still on it at 10 cheaper it seemed which urged me to compare. And I found the same pair at a local drug store at the same 10.00 cheaper. Lesson learn!

Damaged!!!
Very nice styling and well made but they arrived with both lenses scratched in the center so quality and styling aside they are useless, poor packaging.
