This leash has changed our life
I rarely write reviews, let alone post photos with it, but I had to share our success with this leash. We are no stranger to all the dog leashes, collars, training tools, etc out there. My 2 year old GSD/ACD mix is super smart but mentally stubborn. We've been through tons of training to get her to walk better with me. She's leash reactive out of frustration of wanting to meet other dogs. I used to carry treats constantly to distract her, switched to a fabric Martingale collar to help with the pulling...but nothing seemed to be helping in the long term.We worked a ton on her obedience and commands "heel, place, etc" which I think has helped a TON, but the cherry on top has been this simple slip lead. You should also work on the foundations of training with your dog so that they know what you are asking of them. I've heard of slip leads before, know that shelters use them a lot, easy to use on the go, but never knew it could help my dog.Ensuring it's in the PROPER place (up high behind ears and tight, not too tight) has drastically improved the physical communication with my dog and I. With this on, she seems less anxious on walks, less confused if I tell her to "come" and I've rarely had to even "correct" with this leash on, she just instantly stays by me, she looks at me more, and listens to my commands much better. Our walks are SO much more peaceful, and she's been able to peacefully walk by other dogs and not even look their way. I'm kinda mad at myself for not getting one of these a year ago!! It's also so light and easy to carry when it's not on her (dog parks, etc).I suggest looking up training videos on proper use and training tips with slip leads, and hopefully it can help your dog on walks!!

This is What I've Been Looking For
This leash has been a life saver in two areas. First of all it's quick for those 4:00 am outside trips that my bulldog and my rescue mutt have to make for a "bio break." Secondly, it stops the dogs from pulling me. I'm a stout guy but my bulldog pulls me like Astro pulls George Jetson. It doesn't appear to hurt the dogs, either. For me, this was an awesome purchase. Leash is good quality. I purchased the orange one which is visible to find in the dark.

Didn't do the job on my pit
Some of my disappointment with this product is my own fault. I was searching for a harness and this came up, was inexpensive, and had great reviews. Well, it's not what I'd call a harness and, truth be told, neither does the seller. It's essentially a choke rope, and I was trying to replace a choke chain. My dog would pull so hard against the choke chain, that she would throw up. This is an improvement over that, in that she doesn't get sick, but it doesn't really slow her down, either. I still grab it now and then, when I'm in a hurry. I'd rate it as "good", which seems to me, rates 3 stars.

Quality
This is the third time I’ve had to buy this leash. Not due to a lack of quality in the leash itself, but because my pup finds this specific leach absolutely delicious! She’s never eaten any of her (many) other leashes. But this guy, she’ll chomp it up every time. Before any dog wise people ponder “well what is it you use this leash for? Does she associate it with something she finds distasteful?” (See what I did there?) the answer is she can be a little skittish, so when I know we will be going into a situation where she may get nervous, I use this as a failsafe lead, other than the one attached to her harness. But I buy this lead every time. It’s well made and perfect for what I need it for. And if you ask my pup, it’s magically delicious! Let’s hope that this time I don’t forget to put it up, away from her other leads. Three is a charm they say...

Good if your dog is toothless.
I was disappointed when I received it because I thought I'd ordered the same as the last leash. I see now it was a Weaver. This looks very similar, but while the other lasts about a year, I've had this less than a week and tied my dog off to fence near the beach to untangle a seagull caught in line. Within a minute, the dog was next to me, I thought he'd slipped the slide collar. then I saw part of the leash still on him and part on the fence. With no recourse, I tied a knot in the leash and went back to the bird. After figuring out how...took him about 30 seconds to bite through. Might be ok for walking but if you need to tie him off for a minute or two, look elsewhere.

Slip Lead with a No-Slip Out Noose
This lead is great, just the right thickness to feel comfortable on my hand and not hurt my GSPs neck if he pulls suddenly. The leather stop on the noose works very well and keeps it from slipping off of his head when lax. Highly recommend picking up a few to keep around.

Generally very happy with this leash.
My pup walks beautifully now on this leash but it often slips to his throat when he walks too fast and that worries me since he has a very delicate puppy neck. If nothing excites him or makes him want to suddenly bounce towards a new friend, we’re great. I’m hoping that’s just a puppy thing that he’ll grow out of. The leash itself does what it’s supposed to do.

Not for chewers!
It lasted for a good 3 days then my pup started chewing and biting the leather parts and broke off in a matter of minutes... Now I can't lock off the opening and my pup can get out of it easily. I used this for its convenient quick to go feature but I'm extremely disappointed in the durability and stitching of the leather compartments. :/

Sturdy!
This slip lead feels sturdy and has worked well with my 60lb foster dog so far! He peed all over it within a day and it STUNK, but the smell came out easily in the wash and the leash held up well. The only downside so far is that the locking tab is not very easy to move, even after a wash.
