Premonition

I love it then and I love it now. Truly great music never changes. It will remain great. Listening to this music reminds me of a simpler time.

This is an outstanding reproduction of 10 Creedence Clearwater Revival classics, accompanied by 8 Fogerty solo hits. The album does not sound like a typical 'Live' album, and while some folks believe this detracts from the quality and authenticity of the album, I find that it enhances it. In my opinion, live albums rarely sound good. Admittedly, there is an 'energy' in them that counts for something, but generally speaking the quality of the recording along with crowd noise hurts the overall production of a live album. If you want crowd noise, somewhat muddy instruments and a rather bland live album, this ain't it. If you want to hear a professionally recorded, slow and deliberate rock album with a highly polished back up band (Kenny Aronoff on drums!), then this is your album. Some may argue that the energy and rawness of a live album is missing here and they are correct about that. What replaces it though, is an amazing studio-sounding album that offers up some of the greatest classic rock ever written. I enjoy both types of live recordings, but this one is a real John Fogerty showcase. In my opinion, he's never sounded better.

It ain't Creedence, but at least he's mixing in plenty of the old CCR classics alongside the solo material. Fogerty's in great voice throughout, and his backing band is kick-butt tough. Good to have this one back in print. I've been giving away copies as presents to friends and family, and everybody seems really happy with it. But then, I had a premonition that they would...

Unbelievable sound on this live album I bought this for my dad for Father’s Day I just had to get another for myself since my cd was stolen

The sound quality on this CD is outstanding. I have a high end system, when they recorded this, they had the sound dialed in perfect!

Great John Fogerty music, this music was done live on his solo outside of CCR and mentions his wife really saved his life, his drummer is incredible in this CD.

This Record showcases some of John Fogertys biggest hits live in Concert and the CD Live SOUND on this Recorded CD they did a very wonderful job and I will tell you that you should go out a purchase yourself a copy of this CD as it is Amazing. So you will love it for years to come and be glad to have it in your Music Collection.

Loved this album as a kid and man I regret ever losing it but I found it on here new!. Really brings back memories from those car rides and reminds me why I started playing guitar afterwards. Great album and has all the good songs by him. Only complaint was how long the shipping took. Other than that great purchase

Solid live

Hitmaterial von John Fogerty live eingespielt in guter Sound Qualität wie man es gewöhnt ist. Zu erwähnen ist das Susie Q. Und I put a spell on you welche ich bisher auf keiner Live CD gehört habe in einer mitreißend gespielten Art drauf sind. Andererseits ist es bedauerlich und nicht leicht verständlich warum 4 Nummern (alle Blue Moon Swamp)die auf der Live DVD vorhanden sind hier fehlen.An der Spielzeit (68.32 Runing Time) kanns nicht liegen. Da hätte man 1 oder2 oft gehöhrte alte CCR. Songs weggelassen und stattdessen "fast aktuelles Soundgut"raufpacken können.Zur schon öfters gelesenen Rezension die Stimme ist noch so gut wie früher muss ich sagen der hat die alten CCR.Songs nie gehört oder er ist Betriebsblind .Die Stimme ist noch immer gut, hat aber nicht mehr diese urige Rohkraft die Rocksänger in Spitzenzeiten haben aber im Laufe ihrer oft Jahrzehnte langen Karierre verlieren. Aber trotz allem eine gute CD.

La France gagne la Coupe du Monde de football et les Français oublient ainsi leurs problèmes l'espace d'un an...Musicalement, Madonna et les Boys band ont du mal à nous faire oublier les grandes voix des précédentes décennies. Heureusement en 98, John Fogerty est de retour avec "Premonition" enregistré en public et qui reprend les succès de Creedence Clearwater Revival, ainsi que ses propres succès des années suivantes. Un régal d'entendre de nouveau "Proud Mary", "Lodi", "Travelin' band" enregistrés dans de meilleures conditions que dans les années 70.Une très belle promenade dans les bayous à laquelle John Fogerty nous convie là!

A great testament to a passionate musician - true to himself, true to his public. The track list presents a great blend of Creedence songs and solo songs - neither Fogerty nor the band falter at any time during the recording. It even includes a pre-encores intermission!
