Bialetti Replacement Gaskets and Filter Set, 9 Cup,White

I recently received a used Bialetti 9-cup Moka pot. Needless to say, the gasket that was in the pot had seen better days. It was hard, brittle and discolored.After researching to be sure I was selecting the correct replacement gaskets, I ordered this set.Replacement of the gasket and filter screen was very simple and straightforward. However, it seemed that the gaskets I received were slightly too small compared to the original.I've been using the gaskets for almost two weeks now, and I've noticed that there is a small bit of leakage when brewing a pot of coffee. Nothing too major - but the original gasket had no leaks at all.Hopefully, after continued use, the replacement gasket will eventually seal properly.

not sure what to say about this. Very oddly, it was a 1:1 replacement for the gasket on our 9 cup bialetti, which worked fine except for some problems with steam leaking out around the very stiff gasket. Would have thought a new gasket would just solve this, and the coffee maker would work better. However, suddenly, after replacing the gasket, no coffee was made in the upper chamber! No amount of playing with it solved it, even changing the filter didn't help. Coffee ground at a point that worked previously didn't work. Coarser ground coffee didn't work. Then every so often we got coffee again. Still not sure whether it works or not, but the gasket seems to be the correct size, so I don't know what to do with it.

great item, brought my old (34 year old) pot back to life... but...why can't they simply offer a gasket for a dollar or two? I don't need 3 and I don't need a filter...

Perfect fix for the ring of our 9 cup that was falling apart after 2 years of daily use. Also, perhaps there were details I overlooked, but I was surprised and thrilled to see there were 3 rings in the package. So at this rate I should be set for 6 years. 😁

I cannot live without my bialetti or all its parts.I would gladly trade it in for a Starbucks visit any day.Best coffee maker ever.

Help me understand what gaskets to order for my 6-cup Bialetti Moca express machine. The gasket that fits is 2.8" diameter. The replacements I ordered for this measure 2.5". I read in a user comment that the 9-cup gaskets are 2.75" so I ordered these replacements, but they are actually 3.2". I have ordered 2 replacement packages (the 6-cup and the 9-cup) and still do not have the correct size. Please advise.

Easy replacement for the original filter and gasket. Pops in and works like it's a brand new unit. They last a few years of truly daily use. I'm sure if we set the temperature lower on the stove the gasket would last even longer...but I want my coffee.

In my house, we use a stovetop espresso maker daily. As our gasket started to wear out, much of the umph of the maker was wasted as escaping steam. The biggest difficulty in replacing the gasket in your Bialetti stovetop maker is getting the size right.Take out your old one and measure it. This sizing chart may help.[...]

For 9 cups, only issue is that the gasket that came in fits snug, whereas this one has a bit more play. Doesn't affect the coffee quality.
