Ready To Live Caswell Dining Set with Bench, Height, Light Brown

Pros:Wow, if you need a beautiful, sturdy, and fairly cheap dining set. This is the one. I spent way too much time trying to find the perfect dining set for my first real dining room, it really feels like I upgraded my entire kitchen with this in there. For under $500 which was my budget you can easily have a roomy 4 person dining set, but could easily fit 6 people comfortably if you have more chairs. The bench and the dining chairs cushion is firm, but very comfortable. The color is exactly the same to the pictures, which doesn’t often happen on amazon. It’s a nice lighter grey with a walnut finished wood. This entire dining set was so easy to put together I had everything done and up in an hour. Slightly rounded edges on the corners so nobody hurts themselves.Cons:There aren’t many, one of which being that it is HEAVY. Very sturdy and easy to move when put together, but you’re going to need help brining in the box, especially up any amount of stairs. When wiping the table down for the first time the grain of the wood still had a few rough edges but nothing that is going to splinter and hurt, and they will smooth down over time. It showed up about 5 days early, but it did take about 2weeks total for it to be packaged and shipped to me. Worth the wait though.All in all, I’m impressed. I don’t write that much in reviews but since this one doesn’t have that many reviews, I thought I could help them out.

Bought a week ago and at first, this was a great purchase & we were super pleased with it...then fast forward 2 DAYS later, and one of the chairs snapped in two when my friend leaned back. Just snapped, and she is under 140lbs. The other chair also feels like it could snap if you rest your back against it. Such a bummer to already need to buy new chairs- which I will not be re-buying their brand. :(The bench however is fine and the table itself is wonderful.

Pros: acceptable quality to price ratio. The herringbone pattern looks nice.Cons: packaging was bad. The little bags of bolts and washers broke open, spilling all over and several were missing. Only slight damage to the furniture itself and light enough that I didn't want to return. I could see more severe damage happening easily.The bolts and nuts require frequent re-tightening. After about three months, they are finally starting to settle in and stay tight. If I were to buy again, I might swap out the provided lock washers with a more aggressive lock washer.

I am very mechanically inclined and these chairs would not go together in such a way that you could sit in the chairs. The first one, I kept testing and ended up over-tightening it to the point that the wood broke. The chair was never sturdy or able to be sat in. This happened for all of the chairs. The bench worked fine, but the table legs were also damaged. I decided not to get this again or replace it yet.

This table is really beautiful! I was very excited to receive the package and surprised it only took me a couple hours to set up by myself. However, I did take some stars away for a couple of reasons. First, the table seems to be a softer wood. After a week of having it I slid a spiral notebook across the table and it scratched the surface. Over the past couple months I have noticed other surface scratches done by things that I wouldn’t think could cause that.I have had this table for 3 months now, both of the chairs and bench legs are wobbly and need to have frequent adjustments to tighten the bolts. Not a big deal, again, but for the price I was hoping for better quality. The cushions seem comfortable at first but I do my homework at the table and the cushion is now nearly flat.Overall, this table looks beautiful and fits perfectly even in my 800 sq foot apartment but I just wish it was more durable and better quality.

My apt dining area fits perfectly! The cedar chest along the back wall I am using as additional seating. The table matches nicely! The smaller bench is on the far short side so pretty! I'm 61 and on Oxygen and I put this together myself. I did utilize my power tools very carefully. It's really a nice piece of furniture for the price!

I was really excited to receive this package because the table and chairs and bench looked so cute, but the delivery arrived with a chair’s leg broken. As we were unboxing it was the third item we picked out of the box, and it was broken!!! And therefore we could not get anything set up at all because we needed to return it!
