To all of my ladies out there, that grow gray small hairs at the top of our head, and maybe a few strands on the rest of your hair. I use this product all the time. While your hair is dry... you take the bottle out of the box and the small brush. The brush is awesome... and you will shake the hair dye so it all mixes in the bottle!! I usually do a dance while shaking it.once it's all mixed, you will screw on the brush.. and girl.. you apply to all the grays that have suddenly popped up and are on the top of your hair! I may touch up small grays on my long hair so they blend in. There is enough dye in the bottle to just brush on the rest of the dye on your long hair or short hair.. wait 10 minutes, I usually do 15.. go wash it out in the sink or shower... it's quick, it's convenient. I do t buy the big bottles anymore. Dye gets wasted once we dye our head completely. The price for this magic root is insane. They sell two for less than one bottle! No spill No mess you control that brush and how much dye you want on it! 10 minutes you wash it out with water dry and style!! Have a wonderful day ladies

The salon I usually go to closed, so I needed to find another way to cover my grey roots every 3 weeks. So after reading the reviews I gave the color “soft black” a try and I was impressed. The “soft black” color was perfect to cover my grey roots as I have dark brown hair. I’ve used “dark brown” dye before with other brands and it made my roots look ginger, so I went with “soft black.” So now I have a “go to” color in “soft black” with this brand and will order this from now on as it did 100% cover my grey roots.

I love how easy the brush makes it to apply the dye to your roots - I just apply it to the most visible grays around my face. It covers the grays quite well but not 100%. Cons: Color fades quickly even with infrequent washing and using shampoo for color-treated hair — I need to reapply every 2-3 weeks. If the dye gets on your skin it's VERY hard to remove. Overall, I like this product alot but wish it lasted longer.

This product works great, however you need to make sure you have each little grey hair that sticks up (mainly “baby hair” that sticks up) covered and make sure it is patted down with the rest of your hair. I use this product every few weeks rather than going to the hairdresser and save a ton of money. Definitely recommend!

I ordered this back on November. I'm a black woman and wasn't sure if this was going to work well on my hair. I used this in November 2024. It works well and has great coverage. Covered my grays for 5 months. Save the money going to the salon and get this!

This product is SO easy to use! I love the applicator brush right on the bottle. Set 10 minutes, & rinse! But don’t use it the same day if you relax your hair; it will burn. Use it at least 4 days in advance.
