Quiet and powerful.Would have been nicer to have 1 more magnet at the base so it sticks to the aquarium more evenly.

In the beginning pump could not prime automatically but problem went away after one day and now it starts with no problem. Customer service very responsive and helpful. If you have issue with pump start, pull filter out of water(it should be plugged in) and let it drain water, once you see pump is pumping finally, put it back in the water and let it run for day. After that filter should have no issues to start.Very silent pump, skimmer works with a little bit of tweaks. If flow adjusted on low I have to close bottom chamber with paper towel otherwise it does not skim. I'm sure skimmer works fine with full open flow but it's to much for my 16 gal tank.

I love this filter.Pros: easy to change floss without having to take out filter. Black color makes it disappear in the tank. Quiet. Surface suction is a great addition. Heater compartment a plus.Cons: The magnet is rather strong, too strong, it's hard to move the filter because of that. Filter does not sit entirely straight. Supposedly the motor comes out for cleaning, but I cannot get it out.Pros outweigh the cons!

Best Nano filter ever, keeps my 6 gal. rimless crystal and well oxygenated...would surely buy another for next set up.
