36115 520-15T Countershaft Sprocket

Nice sprocket, seems like good material. Has a few thousand miles now, and no noticeable wear and tear. Used this to replace the stock sprocket on a 2012 cbr250r. It increased the speak by 5-10%. Keep in mind that your speedometer may not be accurate after changing sprockets depending on how your bike calculates the speed. This sprocket is one tooth larger than the stock sprocket on a cbr250r. There is no noticeable loss in acceleration like some people try to say there is, it just allows you to crude at highway speed and keep up with traffic at just a little lower rpms.

Put the 15T instead of stock 14tooth one and the gears became slightly taller and more usable. This sprocket fits the CB300R just fine. Some people trim the chain guard bracket. I bought the DID vx3 chain slightly longer which happened to be cheaper then the exact size and managed to rivet the chain to the size. Larger front sprocket made the sixth gear noticeably taller and quieter at higher speeds (also increased top speed potential). While this sprocket may cost more then stock 14t brother it absolutely worth it!

This sprocket is what you need to gear your 2019 Honda CB300R taller. Going bigger in the front gives longer chain life than going smaller in the back. I'm deducting one star for the confusing and incorrect product sizing "helper" that says this sprocket doesn't fit my bike. It does. In fact, I think it fits all the bikes on the drop down menu. I was even able to retain the stock case saver. It still fits if a little closely. Some reviewers complain of poor quality control because the fixing-plate bolt holes aren't equidistant from the center splined shaft. I don't understand the complaint since the OEM sprocket is machined the same way and the fixing-plate itself does not have equidistant bolt holes. The plate must be spun around on the center shaft for the holes to align. RTFM.

Fit my Honda CB300F (and I would assume the CBR300R and CB300R) perfectly. I had to grind some of the metal support on the plastic cover off to get it to fit, but the chain was long enough and the spline was correct. Drops highway engine speed by about 1000 RPMs, and I can now make it across an intersection without having to shift into second. Great, cheap and easy upgrade!

Exact fit onto my 300R. Good durable material. Very happy and will recommend to anyone. definitely going sunstar for any future gearing projects.

This made the 2019 cb300r run much nicer at cruising speeds. 1st-3rd is much smoother with a stronger pull through the gears and 6th is way better on the highway instead of running almost 7000 rpm at 60 mph. If you bought a Honda 300 and need better torque and hate how fast you run out of gears this is an A+ Product.

Can't go wrong with Sunstar OEM quality-you might pay a little more but it's well worth it

I bought the Sunstar 36115 520-15T sprocket for my 2014 honda crf250l and it bolted right up! The only reason it didn't get 5 star was because it has no vibration reduction material on it like my factory sprocket. it's a great sprocket and I'd recommend it! This sprocket increased my crf250l top speed and I don't feel any power lose and it helps 1st gear be more useable
