Good walking sneaker
Shoe has good support , comfortable....seems a bit hard which is great because they are cushioned and last unlike the fresh foam which seem to wear out fast

New Balance has been my go-to running shoe, and therefore, I expect excellent performance and value.
Really good value with support and performance as advertised coupled with the quick delivery of the shoe. My overall experience has been really good so far.

Very nice!
Bought these for my 12 year old son. He is wearing a size men's 13. He is having very painful growing pain and these are very lightweight but supportive.

Best value running shoe? I really wished they were!
Being a average Runner for the past 6 years running regular 5km and10kms with various 1/2 and full marathons achieved I have gone through a lot of running shoes now at all budgets and these as I’m not training for any events plus 90% treadmill running I needed to retire my amazing ASICS Nimbus 21 seeing as they have done over 1000kms. So thought I need a stop gap shoe at the low end of the budget running shoes. I heard great things of New Balance shoes and the 680v6 having good reviews I thought worth a try at this amazing price (£44!). Used for typical week now here are my first impressions:Positives - LOVE the look and build quality is great. Felt fast and form seemed better.Seem light weight similar to previous Nike PegasusStability and grip good even at my sizeNegatives - straight away felt lacking in cushioning, feel a hard minimal shoe and after a week of running a mix of fast 5kms and slow recovery 12kms I have noticed minor feet aches and to be honest wanting to put my old 1000km ASICS back on! On the treadmill you can actually hear the harder soles banging the tread plate making me think I should’ve spent more especially if I’m think of doing longer distances. I have actually bought now new running socks that have helped which cost me £15 so I think I should have splashed some more cash. Maybe the soles foam will get softer I’m just hoping my previous run limiting injuries (shin splints) does come back again during that time.Overall I wish I could have rated better as they look great and at this value I’d hoped for better as I have in the past bought shoes such as the Nike Dual Fusion 2 at this price and ran 1/2 marathons feeling fresh. My advice if you a larger sized runner running approx. 4-5 times a week over 10kms this isn’t the shoe, don’t skimp get them £90 plus higher end trainers as these will be my short fast pace shoes. I’m sure if you a 150 pounder whippet these are really good for any application and probably the best value shoe out there but for me I can’t recommend unfortunately.

At last shoes I can walk In without foot pain!
I am not a runner so would not have even looked at running shoes, However I recently visited a podiatrist as for years I have had foot problems which have been getting worse with age ( age 75) to the point I dislike walking anywhere, daily pain, flat feet, plantar fasciitis, ankle pain and feeling my foot giving way, I have spent a fortune on ‘sensible’ shoes, which often fail to come up to expectations, not able to wear heels, pretty ballet pumps or sandals due to not enough support, he recommended new balance 680, and to get them in 8.5, I wear a womens size 7 usually, and have never worn trainers, I bought these and the womens 680 both in the same size 8.5, to see if there was an appreciable difference in width or length of the shoe, there doesn’t seem to be, I wore these for 8 hours, walked to and from the shops, about 2 miles, no pain! Kept them on and pottered about for the rest of the day, wore them for 11 hours, much longer than I usually wear a pair of shoes,at the moment I feel so happy to be able to walk without pain, but this is only the first few days,

Third time unlucky
This is my third pair of NB 680 running shoes, I really liked my two previous (identical) pairs and ran my first Marathon in my trusty 680.5s last October. The new pair, despite being the same size 8.5 "D" fitting are definitely slightly smaller. I walked around in them indoors and they felt OK but having used them outside for a couple of days they have squeezed my big toes slightly so I am unsure about using them for running and will definitely not do more than 5K first time out. If you get a chance to try the shoes on I would definitely advise you to do so before purchasing. They are well made, look good and are also nice and light, but the size does seem inconsistent with my pairs of the previous generation 680.

Good trainer’s
I order a size 9, but I have to send it back and order size 9,5 because they were small. But apart from that they are very nice.
