My mare will not eat them

I really wanted to like these and I might have… if my horse ate them. He really really doesn’t like them. And this is a horse who eats all his supplements and any sort of treat always. Maybe it is the texture? They certainly don’t smell yummy.

I like that this product is in treat form, and is very affordable compared to similar products. It seems to be really helping my mare to be calmer and more focused.

Horses won’t eat it.

I tried to give my horse a cookie and he straight spit it back out! And would not take any treat from me for about a week after!I ended up having to crumble the cookie into his grain, but not just crumbles it had to be powder or he wouldn’t eat the grain, and I had to mix sugar cubes in with it.These are hard to crumble, unless you pop in the microwave for about 10 seconds first.Unfortunately I just don’t like having the extra added steps when making grain in the morning so will be using up the pack and not buying again:(I didn’t really notice a change in behavior and I have been using it for almost a full month.

I have a 22 year old gelding that has jigged ever since we bought him when he was 5. These do not stop the jigging totally and if he gets excited on a trail ride it's like he never took them. But I can see the difference in just a short while. My farrier noticed it also. I have started taking one on the trail and give him another one 1/2 way into the ride. I might be fooling myself but I can see the difference. But he is easy to excite and if this happens it doesn't do much good.

I really wanted these to work, and they didn't 😟 I contacted the company before I purchased, to ask if this would be something I could give my spicy (energetic) mare 1-2 hours beforehand, and they said yes. So, I gave it a shot. I tried to give her one wafer as is and she spit it out, she's usually not picky. The only way I could get her to eat it was to smash the wafer so it was more like a powder and mix it with her senior grain and a little bit of water. The first few times (probably 5-6 times) I gave her one - didn't do anything. I tried giving her 2, eventually, nothing. I tried giving one before the ride and bring a little mix with me for a snack about half way through, nothing. 1 before and 2 for a snack, nothing. I've tried this for about a month now. :( We only trail ride, and she jigs and dances and gets really fired up over nothing.

Wasn't sure if these would work. Gave one to my gelding before groom/tacking up. Rose on a very windy day in an area with tarps blowing around. He had the smallest startle but kept calm during the rest of our ride. He was definitely "chilled out" but not sedated. He seemed more focused than usual. I'm actually surprised.Only Con, Not too many horses like the taste. My horse is a ham and will eat just about anything, but even he was hesitant at first.
