I bought the sage off of Amazon and I'm surprised how soft the material is but durable. It's a perfect comfortable fit! I get mad compliments on the jacket from everyone. The red tag is simple but an effective fashion staple. I bought the black one directly from their website but for some reason, it's a bit tougher. The fabric isn't as soft as the sage and it's the same product so idk what that is all about, I still have to call them about that. This are my first impressions of this beautiful garment, It fits very slim i'm a short person 5'7, 155 pounds and the small t fits just right, little bit long on the sleeves, cuffs are really long but you can fold them actually very comfortable. Not very much room on chest when closed, perfect for wear with t shirts or even with a very thin layer like a sweater or a thermal, its gonna be tight with a thick hoodie, in that case you should go for the medium for more room, also shoulders fit just right too. This is definitively for a slim to normal person type, if you are overweight and have that big belly forget about it you should go for the regular fit. It seems very warm jacket perfect for fall-winter season i might say for the 40-50 degrees will cover you up from those chilly days. It comes with an orange reversible side, gold hardware and sturdy zippers and leather accents. 5 pockets 2 exterior and 2 interior and 1 arm. I am glad they made this slim fit because the regular seems very roomy and not very flattering, thats why i decide to buy this one. Made in China but with US military standards. Comes with the classic red ribbon on arm pocket that you can unmount. The nylon is a super beautiful material seems water and wind resistant. I think this is a lifetime piece that will go with me in my adventures.

The slim fit men's MA-1 jacket will fit smaller than expected compared to the regular men's MA-1. I originally purchased my typical size medium yet it was too snug when trying it on. I returned it for a size large with no hassle. The size large fits perfect, I strongly suggest going up one size on this jacket. I'm 5'9" 160lbs.The jacket has very durable construction and the materials used are of high quality. The colors are strong and vibrant. I got this slim fit MA-1 in black which is dark with no fades. The inner orange color pops with brightness which creates a stylish accent when wearing.The zipper hardware is beefy and will stand the test of time. The two front pockets are a bit high which is understandable, but they're functional if needed. Pocket flaps can be inserted into the pocket for a "open pocket" appearance.I'm extremely satisfied with this purchase, other bombers out there don't compare to the quality of Alpha Industry products. I strongly recommend this jacket.

I tried the Rothco first, but was unimpressed by the quality and fit. I wanted something with less baggy sleeves so decided to go with a slim fit flight jacket from Alpha Industries.Despite all the reviews telling me to size up, I still chose to go with my normal size telling myself that I never wear XXL in anything. I put my trust in the Alpha Industries sizing chart, and ended up with a XL with a sausage-casing fit. I could zip it up, but only barely. Maybe a slim guy could pull off that fit, but if you have even a slight dad bod you will want to size up one. The XXL fit ended up being just right, roomy enough to fit comfortably while still maintaining the tapered look that this jacket is famous for.I can tell these are made with very high quality materials, and that this jacket will end up being an heirloom piece.

Love the jacket but size is way small had to send back xl for a xxl.

I am very satisfied with this jacket. It is a high quality jacket & the packing was very professional. There are also several fashionable patches included. As a military member, I appreciate the fact that non-military patches are given. I like to be fashionable, however not at the cost of stolen valor. Military patches are earned. The use of fashionable patches included with this jacket speakes volumes to the level of respect & professionalism Alpha Industries holds for the military & for selling quality products. The coat is warm & slim fitting. I am a long & slim 5'11" @ 174lbs. My arm length often poses problems with finding slim fitting clothing with appropriate sleeve length. This jacket fits perfect. Anyone with complaints about the fit of this jacket are making a mistake. You have to carefully consider your body shape & size & be truthful with yourself. Don't purchase a "slim fit" anything & then complain about how it's too snug. You're obviously too large for a slim fit & need to either size up or purchase a "regular fitting" jacket. In conclusion, I will be purchasing this jacket in every color. In these times, you get what you pay for & this was money well spent.

This jacket is absolutely the best replica of the flight jacket that I had when I was in the Air Force! It is the best authentic one I have ever seen! I gave it 5 stars because of the following: well made, rugged, warm but not stifling, looks absolutely great with anything you have on. The "slim" designed jacket is the way to go because the bulky jacket is way too heavy(I have one of those too). I did find that the sizes ran a bit small! I had to return the medium size because it was a bit too snug. The large size fit perfectly! I appreciated the way Amazon handled returns! They do not make you wait until the wrong one was returned before sending its replacement! It was done promptly and efficiently!

I went with a black XS and I must say the quality and fit of this jacket is superb. The reason I'm giving 4 stars and not 5 is because the jacket did not come with the signature "remove before flight" tag.

Quite a nice jacket. Great quality.The zipper seems a bit hard to use sometimes and a few might not like the fact that the bottom of the jacket falls just below the belt (as shown on the main pic on the profile).The wrist could also be tighter.I usually wear size M but I've ordered L (after some buyers warnings).I'm 5'11 and 180 lbs. And the fit is just fine! So, size up!Pockets are deep and comfortable. Definitely made for spring, summer, and fall.It will keep you warm for sure.Received it within 2 business days.The red tag (as shown in the pics) might only be included with the blue one (not sure).
