Clarathon2-Pack Spa Filters Replacement for Unicel 6CH-940, Pleatco PWW50 P3, Filbur FC-0359

I have used a competitors filters for over fifteen years. These had great ratings so I decided to give them a try. After using them for about four months I pulled them today and put in a pair of the other filters. Here's my opinion and why they are going to be relegated to my emergency replacements.The Pros:These filters have a much heavier material than my other filters. I have enjoyed very clear water with minimal chemical adjustments since I installed them. Keeping the water free from small particulate is especially an issue for me as I live in the desert where there is a lot of very fine dust in the air that permeates everything when the wind blows. These filters have a very fine mesh and they catch the blow sand. After my use the filter material shows very little wear even though I have cleaned them numerous times.Cons (and why I gave them a 3 rating):These filters catch everything. Being heavier material I found them became clogged much quicker. Even when new I noticed a drop in pressure on my waterfall jets when these were installed which indicates to me they added significant flow restriction. It was relatively easy for me to know when I needed to clean them as my waterfall jets clearly showed an additional the lack of flow through the filters. Over the last two months I have been required to clean these filters every 10-15 days. My other filters always gave me at least 4-6 weeks. Because these filters lose flow so quickly I believe they are adding significant back pressure to my recirc pump. As I travel and am gone more than 10 days frequently I have gotten to the point I pulled the filters if my trip was longer than a week. I should not have to do this.The bottom line: I think these filters are high quality but they just don't fit my tub usage and travel. Too much work. I'm going back to my old filter provider.

I ordered this item previously. The connection fitting was narrow gage and fit the spa perfectly. This time I ordered the same item (from my Amazon list) and received a totally different product. I tried to return item, however I accidentally checked replace with the "Exact same item" button. Although I tried to correct my error, I was locked out of further actions to fix the issue. I contacted the company via Amazon, but got no response. They do sell the correct product, my son ordered it for me!

They are working in the spa, have used them for over 2 months and clean them every two weeks to one month.Very durable and good filtration

Here's what I love...that these filters, purchased in a two pack were half the price of the same filter-type...for a single filter! Yeah, we're talking nearly a four-to-one price advantage. Now, finding out what type of filter, you sort of need an NSA analyst to break the code, but once you do it's off to the races.Delivery was faster than advertised.

I ordered these to replace a different brand and have been happier. The seal around the thread face works nicely and material is forced into the filter rather than getting sucked into the threads. Makes cleaning much easier without having to skim out the extra floaters.

Second time I’ve order these... no price change from the last. I’m very happy with them and they shipped pretty fast.

It wasn't their fault. I ordered the wrong size. I'm still trying to located the correct ones. The quality of these seemed good, they just didn't fit.
