I enjoy a stout once in a while, enough to have two Guiness pint glasses from years ago. Lately, I found that a pint glass is perfect for my nitro cold brew + milk/sugar that keeps me from having acid reflux, so when one of the glasses broke I decided I needed to replace it.Found these glasses in my search and ordered a set. Holy crow are they nice! Their shape and flair is fantastic for the hand - from my mits that can palm a basketball to my 11-year-old's hands, they just feel really solid in your hand. The embossing looks awesome as well. They were so nice we just decided to get two sets and make those our only glasses.My kid dropped a knife into the stainless steel sink, point down right into the glass, and shattered one. It broke apart mostly in chunks, like plate glass. That said, they are so thick and sturdy I think you'd have to really work at it like my kid to break them.

These are nice quality, hefty glasses that feel good in one's hand. The raised glass harp on the back and the raised, sweeping ridge down the glass also make them feel very "fancy" and set them apart from other pint glasses I have. The printed Guinness logo is completely professional looking (not some home-printed knock-off garbage) and stands up to an automatic dishwasher. I bought these for myself, but if you're thinking of giving them as a gift, I can say I would have been happy to receive them. As others have noted, these DO have visible seams along the sides, but I'm not sure they are "factory seconds" as one reviewer said, because I was at a local pub and discovered they are using these exact same glasses for their Guinness -- seams and all. The seams don't bother my hands as I'm holding the glass, so I'm OK with them, but if you are looking for a perfectly smooth glass, probably look elsewhere.

I didn't really read reviews beforehand, so I never saw the concerns about fake glasses. I placed my order and found a longer than prime delivery time. Then I got tracking info and found out why.My glasses shipped from Carroll's gifts in Ireland. If you're unfamiliar, Carroll's shops are in every major city in Ireland, and specialize in Irish gifts. My Guinness glasses came in bulk packaging, but very well padded, and with the Guinness authenticity stickers on the bottom.I am confident my glasses are real and first quality, and am very happy to have legitimate Guinness pint glasses to enjoy.Also, delivery time was not bad, considering how far my glasses traveled to make it to me.

I was actually in a bar last weekend that had the same exact glasses...Good quality glass, good quality insignia's - stands up to dishwasher well so far also!

After reading few negative reviews I was a bit skeptical, however when I received the product I couldn't be happier. It is well made quality product and feels way more pricier than what I paid for.I did end up buying half pint guiness glass from a different seller and those were not close in quality to this one.It does have original labels stuck at the bottom of each glass for authenticity which I felt was nice. Overall very happy with the purchase.

Ordered a set of four of these for Father's Day...they were a huge hit for a Guinness fan! Originally we had a set that came from Target that lasted about 5 years..these glasses are a MUCH better quality!! When I received them, one had a dented chip on the top, so I emailed customer service (Carrolls Irish Gifts)..they sent me a replacement, which was very much appreciated, especially since they were shipped from Dublin! Would definitely purchase again..A+ quality, A+ customer service, A+ price.

We stumbled on to these Guinness glasses at a local pub, so I did an online search and found these on Amazon. I thought the price was fair. but was even more impressed when I realized that these came directly from a gift shop in Doblin for a price that would not have even covered the shipping. We have friends in Ireland and know from experience what it cost to ship to and from Ireland.

These look great, and fit the hand well. Some reviewers ask if there's a visible seam. Yes, but it's faint--not a deal-killer. However, the manufacturer discourages dishwasher use, so these aren't go-to glasses for me. I'm happy to own them, though, and combined with the "Perfect Black and Tan" gadget, they make a great gift. Even if you're gifting yourself, as I did. :)
