How well does this block heat?

Outside of window was 115.... Inside was 90... Very good a blocking light and heat...

Would this work on the inside of the sunroof of a car? The sunshade of my car broke and I don`t want to spend $1300 on fixing it.

It would completely blacken your sunroof. It is opaque. No light comes in. If that is the effect you want, sure, this will work. But, if you just want the sunroof shaded or even reduced as a dark tint would, no. The only way for light to enter would be if you open the sunroof. And, be very careful during installation. The material tears easily.

Does the film heat up significantly in sunlight? Im worried that since its black, it will absorb lots of heat and radiate it back into the interior.

I have not had a problem with heat coming through. I have noticed that my room is cooler and that is exactly what I was looking for this film to do.
