Dress the Population Women's Sandra Plunging Thick Strap Solid Gown with Slit Dress

This is a well made beautiful dress. The midnight navy is classic and elegant. HOWEVER, it is VERY long so anyone under 6’3” will have to get it altered (not kidding it’s about 8” too long)I’m a size 8 and ordered a L because reviews said ran tight in chest. That is accurate. The lines, drape of the waist, and plunging neck (classy, not too much but def shows some cleavage) makes this a sure winner! I was going to return it because I didn’t have time to have it altered before my event but decided to keep it for a future event.

Runs really small.

Love this dress!! Extremely flattering and form fitting. It is very long so if you are a short girl like me- plan for alterations.

I first purchased this dress at Nordstrom for basically the same price. My purchase from Nordstrom was for the same dress in the same color just a size Medium. As the Medium was too small and Nordstrom was sold out of the Large I came across Amazon and purchased a Large. The dress was definitely not the same quality that was shipped to Nordstrom and the color was slightly off. At the end of the day it was huge and cheap looking I ended up returning it for a full refund.

This is a really nice dress. I have owned it in the light blue color as well. The sizing is tricky because I am between a size S and M. The light blue color in S fits a bit too tight right now but the red size S I ordered fits me perfectly. I also ordered a size M because I thought I may have to size up, but no need. There is no stretch. I am 5'10" 145 lbs. The length is pretty good for my height in heels, but I would not want it to be any shorter. If it were a little longer I may have worn higher heels with it, but that's ok. Glad to have found a dress that is long enough and that I do not have to alter at all.

It was just OK, too crinkly and wrinkly looking. I don’t feel like it was true to size and it was way excessively long. The stress would definitely need to be altered. But overall, I didn’t like the material it felt cheap.

Love this dress!!

The dress is very flattering and fit like a glove after hemming it. However, within a few minutes of putting it on for the wedding I was attending the stitching at the bust started unraveling. Very unhappy with the quality for the price.
