**FINAL UPDATE: NEW ONE RECEIVED, FREE OF CHARGE!! :)
Got this for my cosplay outfit and it is AMAZING! The detail is unique and the arrival of my package was faster than anticipated! The two pieces fit like a sleeve together, and there's velcro straps to keep it in place (a little long, but adjustments are great if something were to happen).UDPATE: (10/11/16)Originally 5 stars. However, I recently took a trip to see my cousin for his birthday, and since he's a fan of Assassin's Creed, I decided to dress up in my cosplay outfit. I had all of my pieces inside of a bag, and as I grabbed out my gauntlet, the hidden blade piece was completely expanded outward (after I turned the knob to keep it from extracting before placing it in the bag) and was bent 90 DEGREES. I tried to bend it back in the opposite direction, and although I gently did so, I noticed the really BIG problem. The spring underneath was wound together and since the area is WAY too small to fit my fingers in, there's NO FIXING IT. I will be contacting the seller after this update to see if I could only buy the retractable blade, but if not, I may have to find one on Etsy that is made of metal besides the flimsy plastic blade. I understand that placing it in a bag was my fault, but I expected it to not extract since I turned the knob. It's my fault that this happened, but I really wish Ubisoft would have used a more durable material for the blade so it didn't bend. I guess we all learn from our mistakes.**FINAL UPDATE!I was shipped a new blade FREE OF CHARGE! The one that was sent came without the pop-on arrow piece, but I managed to just pop the one off of my old one and transfer it onto the new one!! I'll definitely be careful with this one!! Thank you guys for saving my costume!! :)

Very nice , glad I paid $25.00 & waited for it to be in stock
My son loves this , the box it came in was nice and packaging was great . They finally got this in stock after being out for 2 weeks . Some stores are selling this for 50-80$ but I waited when it came back in stock and paid 25$. I got it in two days and it was a lot bigger than expected which I don't mind . The blade is not real of course but just be careful bcz it has a sharp point and could hurt someone, just make sure your child is old enough to understand not to release the blade in someone's face. The material is very well made and I feel this will last a while considering how hard on stuff my kid is with toys. Great buy, the only thing that stinks is you can't find this thing in stores, research prices before buying, don't pay more than it's worth retail.

Not bad but not for kids
Decent enough product for the price. I was surprised at how hard the plastic is, not flexible at all and was bent a bit from the packaging, I had to work with it to remold it to fit my arm. I have thin arms and this is very big on me. If I removed the hidden blade part, I can tighten it a bit to look better but then the blade doesn't fit. I think I'll add Velcro so I can attach the blade part back on after I adjust it. Blade works just fine but I have been careful not to overuse it because I'm worried it will break, tge mechanism seems fragile.Over all, a good costume prop but I wouldn't recommend as a toy for a kid to play with. Would be too big for most kids arms, difficult to adjust and the blade mechanism actually comes out with some force plus the flimsy mechanism issue I mentioned, I'd worry it would break pretty early in. The blade is of course plastic but I could see someone getting hurt if they weren't carful.Using it as a costume piece to wear to Ren faire

Like noted from other reviews
OMG, I only paid 16 dollars shipped.Same product that was over $60 earlier. Like noted from other reviews, and on the box, NOT a kid toy.It is made of thick rubber like plastic, fits well over a jacket or coat as you would for a costume. And unless your looking at it up close, it gives a nice look of leather and metal and has alot of detail. A steal for under $20 even if you keep it has a shelf queen and a must for a fan.

Neat details, cheap, LOUD spring action, no seller support
My son loved to show off this blade. It looks very authentic and detailed. Unfortunately, the fun only lasted 6 weeks. The pop out, plastic blade is activated by a VERY cheap and loud spring. The spring broke, despite my son using sparingly and treating this $30 toy more like a collector's item. I've yet to receive any email or response from the seller on replacing the item for me and we've now had it since Christmas of 2016. so disappointing.

Literally think its "Okay" detail is great and all
Literally think its "Okay" detail is great and all, but its this hard molded plastic with zero flexibility. I should have realized this when I saw the low price point. I thought it would be good for a Halloween costume, but it's inflexibility made it no good for me. So overall its a decent toy I suppose with nice detail, just don't expect to use it as a costume piece without discomfort.

High quality prop.
This piece is of surprisingly high quality considering its purpose and price point. We have a nice Assassin's Creed assassin's costume we purchased that is supremely well made. We wanted a weapon piece that at least looked as good as the costume. This doesn't disappoint. I'm sure some people have had some problems with fit, adjustment, etc, but I sure didn't. If these weren't mass produced, I would say nice craftsmanship!

Ships in original box
The "toy" is legit, obviously for $60 it's not going to be metal but the hard plastic is pretty darn cool... There aren't instructions but just a tip: the hidden blade goes against the forearm not over the rest of the wrist/forearm pieceBUT FYI it comes unprotected without being in a box so if it's a gift you better intercept that before your boyfriend sees it and it ruins the surprise of his bday present :/Don't get me wrong though I appreciate conserving the extra shipping materials especially since Amazon hasn't always been the most efficient at that :)
