Reliable Protection and Smells Great
I’ve been using Sun Bum for a while now, and it never disappoints. The SPF 50 gives solid protection, even on really sunny days, and it doesn’t feel greasy like some other sunscreens. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave a weird white cast. Bonus—it actually smells good, kind of tropical, but not overpowering. Great for the beach, outdoor sports, or everyday use. Definitely a go-to in my sunscreen lineup.

Is this what the swimsuit models in California use?
My family used this and we were all clear of any burns after a couple hours in the sun. Another family that was with us wasn't as fortunate. They were wearing some other kind of sun screen. I especially love how it isn't oily, thick, or sticky, like other creams. It also has a very light pleasant smell, unlike other creams that give off a nauseatingly strong smell. You won't smell like that every generic sunscreen out there.Get this. Treat yourself. This is more expensive than the other creams, but it's better. The quality is better and it even looks fancier than those other cheap looking bottles. Look fancy and classy when you pull this bottle out to protect your skin and your family's. Smell fancy and classy when you put this on.My bias is obvious. I absolutely love this product. It looks great, but most importantly, it works wonderfully.Protect your skin, buy sun screen, even if it's not this one. Also, buy sun glasses with polarization and uv protection. Your eyes are just as important as your skin. Spending a couple hundred dollars on good glasses now when you're young will be worth the couple more years of clear vision it will mean when you're older. (Not the overpriced big brand names... Oakley, Ray Ban, etc, are just overpriced, but they do work too)My thoughts and criteria for products I review: (Amazon’s Rating Criteria in Parentheses)* 1 Star (I hate it!): Feel it's a waste of money. Will never use it again. Would never recommend. Not safe to use. Either throw away or return it.** 2 Stars (I don’t like it): Don't like it and wouldn't use it again, but may still have at least 1 positive thing about it.*** 3 Stars (It’s ok): Product has both positives and negatives, and I may or may not continue using it. Someone else may like it more and is potentially still worth purchasing.**** 4 Stars (I like it): Item as described in functionality, purpose, and quality. May have 1 or 2 things I don't care for or would change, but not big issues. Would recommend if asked, but wouldn't say I love it.***** 5 Stars (I love it!): Practically perfect. Nothing lacking in functionality or quality. Love it and would not only recommend, but would purchase for others and continue to purchase for myself.

Smells fantastic, does the job.
So, I recently got my hands on some Sun Bum, and let me tell you, it's become my go-to sunscreen. One thing that immediately caught my attention is its awesome scent. You know how most sunscreen brands have that generic, chemical smell? Well, Sun Bum breaks the mold with a refreshing fragrance that actually smells great, almost like bananas. No more walking around smelling like a bottle of sunscreen. It's a breeze to put on. It goes on smoothly and effortlessly, like spreading butter. No greasy or sticky residue to deal with, which is perfect. It absorbs quickly, so I can get back to doing what I love outdoors without feeling all gross and weighed down. You're not buying lotion or cologne, the real deal is the protection. Recently, I went on a trip to Colorado with my buddies, and while they all came back looking like they spent too much time under a heat lamp, I managed to avoid the dreaded lobster look. Thanks a proper application, my skin stayed protected, and I came back with a cool tan instead. It did its job remarkably well, shielding me from those intense mountain rays.If smell is important to you, I'll freely give this sunscreen my seal of approval.

GREAT!
This sunscreen is AMAZING! I've tried 2 Neutrogena sunscreens, CeraVe's sunscreen, and the generic Sun Boat and Walmart brand sunscreens. All those brands are super oily, burn my eyes/skin, make my skin feel gross and just aren't pleasant. The only downside is how small the bottles are. I got the biggest one and it will only last me maybe 3 months in the summer time, and its $20. I just started using SunBums and it's FANTASTIC! (And here's some reasons as to why)#1.) I have bangs, usually when I wear sunscreen my bangs get plastered to my forehead due to the oil-yness of the sunscreen, but SunBums sunscreen doesn't make my skin oily and my bangs are free moving and flowers!#2.) It's super easy to apply (like obviously cause it's sunscreen) but I mean in terms of it absorbing into your skin. Generally with other sunscreens I have to wipe some off of my face and rub it for like 20 seconds to get the white cast gone. But SunBum sunscreen just absorbs right into your skin and leaves no white cast!(I am a fair skinned ginger and it doesn't leave a white cast, I also have a darker skinned friend and it rubs right into his skin and doesn't leave a white cast either, not that he wears sunscreen, but I had him try it)#3.) It smells SO GOOD! It smells like Bananas, not like generic sunscreen, but just plain ol yummy Bananas!#4.) I have worn this all day and applied a couple times during the day, after wearing it for 2 days straight I have 0 acne from it! Usually after a day of wearing sunscreen I get like 4-12 pimples!#5.) It's super light on your face. Like i said before, it absorbs into your skin pretty quickly and it isn't too heavy. It's almost like a thicker CeraVe facial moisturizer feel & absorption wise. Some people have left a review saying that when their sunscreen came in it had a super close expiration date, my bottle had an expiration date set for October of 2024, I got it April of 2023. So that's plenty of time for me to get through this whole bottle, as I use sunscreen daily all throughout the year!
