Stan Winston Creatures Creature Features - The Visitor

The Visitor
Of the various Creature Feature figures, The Visitor seems the least frightening in appearance, so it probably won't frighten your children. It has thick tentacles draped across it's head like dreadlocks, one small eye and a big, if tooth-filled, grin. It's arms and legs resemble masses of vines, with no claws, and the pose isn't particularly frightening. I'm saying this as a compliment. The skin, unlike the hard skin of the other figures, is soft and rubbery. The base is a stone and earth forest floor with large fallen trees/branches where the creature perches. However, this is NOT a piece for children, at least, not complete. Included with the forest/fallen tree base are several small, loose branches and twigs which could easily be swallowed. If you want to give this to a child, be sure to take those small branches away. It is not meant to be a toy, and while you could probably play with The Visitor figure, it is best as a display piece.Other than the small branches, this is an excellent figure for collectors.

the best toy
Im not much into toys. In fact this is the first toy I've bought in a long time. The colors and composition of the whole piece really appealed to me. I think that it is so cool that Stan Winston has gone from movies to toys! and the CD-Rom isn't a bad extra either.
