For the price you pay this is a fantastic item. I wore this out for New Year which is mostly outside so the fabric was a bit flimsy but for indoors it is great. The shirt is only a neck piece but does work really well for the outfit. Really looked smart however the badges need thinking about one strip is missing for a captain and it also has flight sergeant strips but that's just me being pedantic

Uniform good fit although a bit flimsy. Hat would fit a small child.

Cheap, thin material, just overall rubbish!! The hat was huge and mishaped, the outfit itself was see through and just an absolute waste of money.

I needed an outfit to wear for a 1940’s event and this looked really good in the photo and Smiffys do produce some great outfits and have a very good reputation so I ordered this.What came to be honest was quite disappointing. The jacket was not too bad and fitted although resembled a pyjama top rather than a suit. The cap I received was awful and see through. There was no way to get the thing into shape to wear. The trousers were basically long elasticated tracksuit bottoms. There is no way that I could have turned up in this outfit to a 1940s weekend. It is probably ok for a fancy dress party if can find another cap, shirt, blue trousers and tie.I guess you get what you pay for and it was less than £26 on Amazon. I may be over critical after seeing the advertised photo Which looks really good but honesty is the best option. Glad I didn’t pay the £47 retail price. The same outfit is £35 on the manufactures website. The outfit was sadly unsuitable for what I needed and I was able to send it back and get a full refund.

Delivered on the expected day of delivery.Costume fits well and comfortable.Rim of the cap is a little on the large side. Not a great problem as this can be resolved easily.Over all it is very good quality.Wearing costume for a VE Day tea party at a residential home.

Bought this not expecting much but I am disappointed. My comments are based on size M that I ordered.The hat was so poorly sown it was misshaped and not usable at all, not looking anything like the picture.The trousers were comically large. The leg width was so large 2 people could have gotten in there and I would have needed to be 7” tall for the length to fit. Again not useable.The belt holes on the belt were in such a position that I would have needed a 20” waist for them to be useable. I ended up making a new hole myself to be able to use it.The jacket did fit ok. The arms were slightly too long but I was able to modify this myself so this looks ok.

Not opened yet but looks ok. I've had Smiffys costumes before which were very good. Never got to wear this one as the party it was intended for was cancelled due to COVID-19 cases.

Product is good overall but comfort in an outfit like this is important. With this in mind, you’ll need to add some of your own clothes or you’ll look like you’ve got parachute trousers. I had a pair of navy trousers so used these instead, the shirt and tie only cover where the jacket doesn’t so again you’ll need a plain white shirt and I would suggest a navy/black tie, the hat is an awkward fit but you don’t need to keep it on all the time. In summary great if you have some alternatives to swap out but if you haven’t you’ll be in for an uncomfortable time.
