Great boots
Pros: Awesome look, historic boot from pre-railroad times, great for horseback without looking trendy, great leather, room enough for hiking socks and toe warmers, very comfortable, Swiss welt stitching, locking eyelets. Honestly, I am really surprised these are a good value. Good value is rare these days! I love that I don’t look “western” or “English” at my horse barn.Cons: Doesn’t come in wide for women, and they don’t carry mens below size 8, so it you want to wear your expedition heavyweight wool socks in winter, these won’t work. The tongue is suede, which cheapens them a bit, and it’s a little narrow so you have to position it carefully, it’s not sewn around the sides, so you feet get soaked on boggy ground. I wish I could upgrade to a pair with full grain leather tongue sewn up the sides, and a composite toe. Then I would like that same pair in a wide for winter. Rugged boot options for women!!!

Love the look and better than I expected
I needed new riding boots and I prefer the lace up paddock style. They are great for the price!

Magnificent Boots
I am SO in love with these boots!! I own 3 pair and will buy more! Please make an all back pair!!! I have one pair of Black/Cherry combination, 2 pairs of the Chestnut color. I continue to look for solid black but haven’t found any in Ad Tec brand. One Chestnut pair is for only outside work as I do mens work outside. These are the BEST pair of work boots I’ve ever had and I’ve had too many to count! I need the tall height because my feet and ankles are weak and these boots give me support and strength. The soles are not slippery and perfect for outside work and even in heavy dirt and mud. I have to wear orthotics in my boots ( the support inside the boots are magnificent but I need the orthotic the doctors fitted me with.). So I take the inner foot liner out and slip mine in and it’s perfect fit. I have the Black/Cherry boots as dress boots and the other Chestnut pair as dress and daily wear. I wear only Old West Dresses and Riding skirts from the 1885 Era, so these boots are perfect with my style as well as the fit is amazing!! I can walk all day in them and not hurt!! Thank you Ad Tec for a wonderful product!! And please think about making them in black? 🤗

Runs Large, buy a 1/2 size smaller
I am so disappointed in the sizing of these boots. First I got sent a men's 8.5 now upon receiving the women's this boot is too large still. I would just return them and not complain however I had them brought down to Mexico for riding here. Sadly will just have to ware to pairs of socks. I freaken loved these boots and have had them before so this was a repurchase. The previous ones lasted over 4 years riding 4-5 times a week. Also the color is much lighter than the advertised cherry, its more of a tan.

My go-to, everyday footwear
I love these boots so much that I bought the camel color first, then the red & black, and am planning to purchase the chestnut as well. I've worn one of my two pairs at least 3 days a week for nearly a year now. I have never gotten a blister or any other discomfort from them. I have an extremely narrow heel that's hard to fit in most shoes, but these lace tightly and comfortably for zero slide. The sole handles wet and ice beautifully, and the insole is super squishy. I would buy these again even if they weren't one of the few leather boots I could find for less than $100. Truly, the worst thing I could say about them is that the camel got some black scuffs on the toe and heel after several hard wearings. I couldn't find a matching shoe polish anywhere. I ended up cleaning them with a magic eraser, some Murphy's Oil Soap, and a vegetable brush. It worked great! The boots now just look lived in, not worn out.

Not the color advertised.
Amazing boots, however they are most definitely brown and not cherry like in the picture.Would’ve been a 5 star rating other than that.

Perfect for what they were designed to do
I bought these to replace some 20-year-old Ariat paddock boots that I wore into the ground. I wanted something with more support for standing and walking, but that I could also ride in. I train horses which involves both, not to mention barn chores. These are amazing, took less than a week to break in, are reasonably waterproof (at least up to where the speed laces start) and work with my spurs and half chaps. Feels like a riding boot in the saddle, and a work boot on the ground. I went up a size and I can wear them with double socks or toe warmers in the winter, and they also work just fine with one pair of socks in warmer weather. Super pleased with the friend who recommended these to me!Work has aged them about 3 years in 3 weeks, but horses will do that... :)

My favorite all-around boot
I have owned/used these boots for 2 years. I use them daily for barn work and Western/English trail riding. I own these in tan also so that I have a "clean" pair to wear for church, errands, date night, etc. So this particular pair has never been cleaned or oiled, other than getting wet at the wash rack, and they hold up well. I used to prefer Ariat or Justin boots but they stopped making lace-up boots like this! I have tried paddock boots but I have skinny legs and ankles so those just fit weird, look funny, and dirt/hay gets in the boot really easily (the same goes for Western boots). The lace-up style is more flattering on pretty much anyone, but especially the chicken-legged folks like me! And it turns out the Adtec boots are actually more comfortable and sturdy than those other 2 more expensive brands. I even had an incident with getting my foot stuck in a stirrup when the horse I was riding bucked me off (a metal English non-safety stirrup with a rubber pad, don't make the same mistake!) resulting in a twisted ankle, and my orthopedist said these boots likely kept the sprain from being more severe. While recovering from that, these boots were the only shoes that helped hold my ankle together in a comfortable position. I wear them all year round here in PA with just hiking socks, except when temps get below 30, then I use toe warmers or insulated muck boots if I'm not riding. I really don't have anything bad to say about these boots and I expect a lot from my boots!

LOVE THESE BOOTS
First set of work boots i absolutely love. Pretty and totally not warehouse like. One thing, it is NOT a wide fit, so definitely get a half size up if you need it. It fits a little narrow. Everyone who looks at them cant believe they are work boots. I plan on taking care of these a a while :)

Too big, had to pay for return
So the tag on the boots said 8.5M which, considering how big they were I figured they were Men's size, they are saying that they sent me the right product ( 8.5 women) and they are making me pay for return. I mean, the sizes are definitley not true to size so, well, don't buy stuff here unless you enjoy the surprises of having no idea what size you need in order to fit your feet.

Great boot, fits true to size
I have a pretty wide foot, and normally take a size 8. I originally ordered an 8.5 (some comments suggested going up a size for wide feet), but it was way too big. I returned them for an 8 and the sizing is perfect.

Fits well, looks great!
Ever wanted to wear the bastard child of the cowboy boot and the logger boot? Well say no more! Cuban heel and pointed toe, oiled red leather on black, comfort and style.
