Sound is VERY soft
My order was shorted, but after contacting the vendor, missing bells were sent.The bells are attractive in a rustic way.I macramed a rope onto each bell separately and then secured nine bells together to make a "door bell" for a pet. However, the sound of nine bells together was way too soft for my purpose.Also the loop at the bell's crown was tight; I could only get twine through one time. Even that was challenging because the end of the twine tended to go inside the bell rather than through the tight loop. There was little room to try to fish it out the other side of the loop. Actually, had wanted to get two strands through the loop, but couldn't fit a second strand. I would not buy these bells again. They've been donated.
