Nice (cozonac) product
Bought it as it resembles very closely a product from back home. Not as good as that one, but still a good purchase and great value for money. Needless to say I've eaten the whole thing in a few days.

a very dense loaf
a very dense loaf. Shouldn't be called brioche.

Really good ....
This is probably the weightiest brioche I've ever eaten. It's full of big chunks of walnut, with a vein of raisin, and a hint of cinnamon. It's lovely toasted with strong cheese and a glass of sweet white wine, or slathered with salty Breton butter and washed down with a coffee. I'm buying more ....

Dry
A bit too dry and crumbly, not as tasty as hoped.

Stale and tasteless
Absolutely horrible. Did I get an out of date one? No flavour and hard. Very disappointing

Not fresh
I bought several of these from Amazon and Ocado, too, in the vain hope that one will be fresh. Not a chance. The brioche is rather dense and dry, and although I can see the cinnamon swirls, one can barely taste the spice. The walnuts taste off - they must be years old, otherwise they'd taste like walnuts should! As someone who's grown up with walnut trees in the garden, collecting basketfuls of them every autumn and eating cakes with walnut fillings for nearly five decades, I can honestly say that the walnuts used in these loaves are definitely off and rancid. Ended up digging the nuts out and using the dry loaf for bread-and-butter pudding, as that was the only way to make this edible.

Like homemade!
It tastes like homemade! No preservatives, additives etc. Just classic ingredients, fresh and tastes as it should to be, yummy!
