I might try another color.
I am not sure if it was just the black .I found it hard to work with. It kept sticking together and it little rough but it hangs nice. It's also a nice color black. I may order more but of a different color.

This rope is just beautiful. I am new to macrame but it's a no brainer with all the rope I have ordered. These are soft and beautiful. Well packaged too. I didn't see the sticker of the company on the pink one I got a couple days ago but got the blue one today and saw where it is made. Anything made in Europe is good stuff. I am about quality. This rope is both perfect quality and quantity for the price. Over a kilo each roll. Made in Europe wow. That's what I'm talking about.
