Purchased 3 swings, very happy pokemon trainer
TLDR - This phone swing works great and is the superior product. Get this one. Pictures attached.I’m an avid Pokemon go player and in my quest to be the very best, I bought 4 phone swings, 3 of them are from this seller. Here’s an honest review:1. Side to side swing motion is more “natural” for the phones pedometer. Think about how the motion of the phone when it’s in your pocket. This translates to more steps and higher km in Pokemon go. I’ve gotten 1km - 10km per hour (depending your phone’s pedometer, in my experience android is more sensitive and thus more generous with step count) which means getting thru a lot of eggs and earning lots of Pokemon candies especially the rare XL candy2. You can mount your phone on and off the swing with one hand. The other phone swing on the other hand almost requires a third hand and Im not joking. You’d need one hand to stretch out the rubber band, another to slide in your phone and a third to make sure the bearing does not slip off from the two swing points. With this phone swing its one efficient smooth motion where you just slide it in.3. It will self correct if you were to over swing the device while the other will topple over. This is important because maximum swing angle results in maximum step counts. Not worrying about the swing toppling over is a huge plus.4. No set up required unlike the other swing. This product is plug and play.High ease of use, good value for money and very sturdy.

Perfect for Pokemon Go
TLDR: Works great for Pokemon Go! buy this one.Pros:1. Silent operation2. Easy to remove your phone from the holder3. Fits different phone sizes, even with a phone case.4. Easily walk hundreds of km to hatch eggs (Pokemon Go)5. The side to side rocking better simulates walking which allows for more steps to be counted.Cons:1. I wish it was a little heavier so it would stay on the desk when lifting my phone out of the holder.2. Can sometimes require 2 hands to remove phone from the holder.3. You will be unable to charge your phone when using it so make sure you charge up before use.Note: Another review mentioned it operates best when your phone is upside down. I have used it in that position and it does make reading notifications. However, this does help me focus on other tasks because I cannot look at my phone, so win-win haha.

Works for about 45 seconds, then has to be pushed again.
I don't know what I am supposed to expect from this product. Reading other reviews doesn't help me at all. I plug the power cord into a 5V power adapter and turn it on and it just... wiggles a tiny bit. There is about five degrees of motion with no phone in the cradle.I put my phone in and it works great when you sit and push it every minute to get it to go again. The green light flashes a bit every time it makes a swing past it. Eventually, within about a couple minutes or so, the physical motion dies down completely and the phone is completely still. I'm literally just pushing my phone manually in a little cradle like I'm rocking a baby. Green light is still blazing away, reminding me that I actually just bought a 20 dollar green light.Honestly, it's worthless. Did I get a broken one? Who knows, this is what I got. I don't see any reason to buy another one to test it against and waste my money twice.

Does not support zfold phones, but did not say it would.
So just for an fyi, i bought this guy and a few others to see if they would support a folding phone.Turns out this model does NOT (but also it does not say it does, so I do not blame them, thus the 4 star review)I have a Galaxy Zfold 6 and a Galaxy Ultra 24, it works fine with a normal-thickness phone, but the fold phones will not hang on the smaller lip on the bottom. So if you have a folding phone you will need to buy a swing with a rubber holder that goes across the phone.Good overall build quality, however, and glad it would work for my wife's phone.

Unfortunately, Doesn't Work with a Nintendo 3DS
My intention was to find a device that would allow me to mechanically perform my daily steps with my New Nintendo 3DS (small model) in order to reliably generate play coins. None of the existing reviews for this sort of automatic step counter mentioned attempts (either successful or failed) with a 3DS, but I decided to give this product a try since I thought the side-to-side movement would be more likely to count as a step than similar products that pivot forwards and backwards. Remarkably, my 3DS fit and stayed secure in the adjustable cradle and reliably swung to the specified height despite weighing 9 oz. Sadly, I could not get this device to record steps at all regardless of how I adjusted the swing height or how I oriented the 3DS in the cradle. I suspect that the gyroscopes used in the 3DS are sensitive/smart enough to tell the difference (after all, they are designed for dynamic gameplay), which seems silly since I can otherwise shake the 3DS in my hand and slowly create "fake" steps. While I did return this product as a result of my failed exercise, I'm giving it five stars because it otherwise lived up to its advertised expectations. It was decently packaged and easy to set up, came with sufficiently detailed instructions, adjusted easily, swung reliably, and best of all was incredibly quiet. It's not this product's fault that I paired it with a platform with which it was never designed nor advertised to work.
