Pinpointer Tip Protectors and Lanyard for Garrett Pro-Pointer at

Just what I been looking for. Works great I like the settings. Little pricey but you get what you pay for.

An awesome and inexpensive way to protect your pin pointer to add a ton more years on to the life of the pin pointer. I use my pin pointer underwater 95% of the time and if I don’t use these protector covers my pin pointer only last a year before getting holes in it.

Fit was good

The pinpointer lanyard is a nice-to-have item, but the lanyard seems a bit short to me. Maybe it will stretch a bit after some use. It's well-made but seems short, and I'm not a tall person.The pinpointer caps work great and will provide protection when using the pinpointer. I was concerned that they might interfere with the sensitivity of the pinpointer, but they do not (and thanks to the people who answered my question about the sensitivity).Items arrived on time.

When I learned about these tip protectors I had to get a set. I believe these totally worth the cost. I have much less worry about poking my pinpointer into the soil and getting it damaged.Pro: helps keep your pinpointer tip from getting scarred or crackedCon: the edge & added width of the tip protector catches on my pinpointer holder making extraction a bit clunky. (I lost a tip protector because it got knocked off as I pulled it out of the sleeve)Is it possible that the tip protector reduces the effectiveness of the pinpointer detection because of an added layer over the tip? Maybe a tiny bit, but certainly nothing significant that I have been able to notice.IMO the pro still outweighs the con.

Tip protectors do their job in protecting the tip and make your pin pointer last for years.I was detecting in water and my pin pointer fell out of my holster. Luckily I found it. The lanyard which I purchased after that took all those worries away from happening ever again.

Keeps the Pinpointer within arms reach and in a stowable position when not in use. Protective tip covers are a must to prevent damage and debris. Tip covers are more sacrificial than the tip of the Pinpointer alone.
