I used this to masking the car for paint The tape is very thin when you try to take it off on next day it will broken so you need more time to remove it but it still can get the job done so at the end what you pay what you get

Tape was used in the automotive area for masking off cars with plastic and paper.I didn’t run into any problem as far as stickiness it stuck to pretty much every type of material on a vehicle.The tape itself is supper thin if compared to the 3m automotive yellow tape.After applied I suggest not to leave it on for more then a few hours, & do not get the tape wet if not you will have fun taking it off.If your wanting fine paint lines don’t use this tape either because paint does bleed through the edges a little.What I currently am doing is using the 3/4” 3m automotive yellow tape to mask the perimeter of the window or whatever it is then I’ll cut plastic to fit & then I’ll use this tape to go over the 3m with the plastic sheetingIf your looking for an quality paint line and a quality tape I suggest spending the money on the 3m tape

Have your every heard or used the saying “you get what you pay for?” If you have not used that saying, get this tape and you will know the exact meaning of that phrase. It is sticky and does remove easily. However, this tape is super thin and bleeds through. If you spraying a car or vehicle, spend the extra money for quality 3m tape. This will work great if you double or triple up but at that point, might as well just get the good stuff.

Is rather translucent paper, and I was expecting an opaque tape; a plastic tape like 3m, but it works well enough for my general purposes, and the cost is lower. That was important, too.

This will stick for sure but it just leaves the residue at times. I did order in bulk and really have used this as my secondary tape to mask items and use it to tape under the fenders and lower rails. It is useful as a temp one day masking and to cover over rips in plastic lining prior to coating the car. I wouldn't kick it off the bed.

My teen painted his 85 Corvette for his Senior project. He did it on a budget and this tape worked well.
