I could have rented one for the weekend or purchase this for the same price! It looked just like one I had rented before in the past. I wanted to plant a new lawn. It takes various steps to create a beautiful lawn. One step is using a roller to level it out. In the past, I have rented a roller. It took longer than I expected and wish I would have just purchased one. My mistake is that I never looked in to the cost to purchase one. This time I found this one close to renting one for four hours. I decided to order it and give it a try. Now, I don’t have to rent it, work fast and return it by deadline. It has been so enjoyable to not have time limits and just enjoy the process.

If you are laying sod or just reseeding/overseeding a lawn, this is a must have in order to get the seed to stick to the soil below. Be careful on any type of incline. Even filled with water, it's heavy and can get away from you. Have been putting off buying one for several years due to cost but this is a great buy even if I only get a few years usage out of it!

The product was easy to use and stored, good build quality, you can either filled with sand or water. One thing I wished they had done was make the fill/drain plug on the bottom instead of the side with secure threads. The put the plug on the side so when you completed the task and needs to drain the water out it will have some standing water in there difficult to get it out, I left my cap open, hoping the air will dry it out. I take off a star for missing a part first time order from this company, it came missing a part, customer service was excellent quick to respond, since they didn't have available part in stock, they were able to sent me a completed set.

Even for the price point. This roller is absolute crap. Drum pins have no bushings. So it's metal on metal. Which won't last long. Rubber plug was to small for filler hole. Needed to duct tape the plug to make it seal and keep the water from splashing out. Paint on drum peeled of in almost an entire sheet. Also shipping was horrendous. Promised 1 day shipping. Then changed to 6 days then 7 days. Bad experience all around. Would not buy again. You have been warned ⚠️ UPDATE EDIT: The seller reached out concerned about my experience with their product. That alone speaks to their professionalism. They made my buying experience better and hope I was a one off. For their follow up. I have adjusted my rating up.

Arrived in good shape, easy to put together and works great. Good value for the price.

This roller was simple to assemble. I filled with water and proceeded to roll the new sod that Imhad installed, it sure beats the heck out of using a tamper.

Very easy to assemble. Love the fact that you can fill and empty whenever you want. Makes it very convenient to move on abs off the trailer. Overall great product that gets the job done!

Package came safely and wel packed, I also noticed the package came with a cute litte sticker attached to a red string leading into the box that said "hardware safly included with package"Well there was hardware, but not the right stuff.. the nuts were not the right ones and every screw, the nut only went to the end, and did not secure any of the parts together.Next this is advertised as rust proof right? Well Mines already rusting, it's not rusting over the paint of course since that's thats supposed to stop the rust, but anywhere the paint as been rubbed off is rusting already, and I didn't leave it out in the water or anything... next next, the entire inside of the drum is severely rusting... the position of the drain hole is in a raised ridge, so you cannot drain it fully without a siphon or somthing special, so its extremely unreasonable to be able to drain it enough to stop it from rusting inside... its just really poor quality for the price I guess
