Takes smaller sized gum balls! Cute sturdy! Love it!
Gum ball machine is adorable and fun! Only thing that stinks is it takes the smaller gumballs we were hoping to be able to mix it up a little with the toy balls but my boys love this as a reward system when they have good days a school or for doing chores and we have come up with a few other cairns to try as well!

Gorgeous and Well Crafted!
I feel obligated to write a review because reading others' comments prior to my purchase is what persuaded me to buy. It is TRUE ... This candy machine is both beautiful and solid. Points I'd like to highlight:The shipping was lightening fast. I was expecting a week, at minimum, until it arrived, yet it was delivered within three days. The machine (which comes assembled) and the stand (which requires assembly, but is a cinch) were all packaged with protective sleeves. I was impressed. It was a breeze to assemble the stand and then mount the machine onto the stand, and I actually have no skills in this department whatsoever; just me and a dinky little screwdriver were able to construct it without any issue/trouble.NOTHING about this machine looks cheap. It's beautifully constructed. An adult will need to bend over to dispense candy into their hand. In general terms, the height of this machine (assembled and on the stand) is maybe an inch or two higher than a standard countertop height. For kids, it is the perfect height. It's not dinky at all, but just thought I'd point out it's not 5 or 6 feet tall, if that's what you're expecting.I easily disassembled the machine in order to make it a "free spin" (where you still must turn the dial to dispense candy, but it does not require a coin to do so). Another reviewer commented that it was a hassle to retrieve coins, given that you need to disassemble the machine each time you wish to do so. And I agree, it would be. It's not complicated to take apart and put back together, but just not something I would be inclined to do on a regular basis.I cleaned the parts of the machine where candy would touch and then filled it with about a cup of jellybeans to test it out. It worked flawlessly! I had a ball turning the wheel and seeing the candy come down the shoot, so I can only imagine how wondrous this machine must be for children. At the time I disassemble the machine to turn off the coin requirement, I also adjusted the portion unit. You can choose a range of options (a wide to narrow opening) to control how much candy is dispensed. This, too, was extremely easy.I am THRILLED with my purchase, have zero negatives to report, and I highly recommend it.

Nostalgic Machine
I grew up with my mom having one of these gum-ball machines in the house and hers was probably from the 80s. For the past year my son has been asking me for a gum-ball machine and we finally got him one for Christmas. It’s very well made, easy to put together and easy to use.

Very elegant to a home.
Being a younger baby boomer I enjoy the retro eras. I enjoy the past classics around my home that was once upon a time a part of my life everywhere I shopped & was in public places. I preserved a piece of history in my home for myself and all in good taste.

Santas present
My grandson told Santa that's 1 of the things he wanted so Santa brought and he absolutely loves

Nephew loves it. All that matters to me.
My nephew asked for a “candy machine” so I got him this. He’s young so he didn’t really know what to make of it but he definitely loves the candy. It’s colorful, gives out candy, kids definitely like it.The quality is definitely there, especially for the price. It’s not industrial grade and probably won’t hold up in a high traffic situation. But for the house and for occasionally giving your kids some candy, it can be a big hit.I’ve disassembled it to its main parts (disassembly is required to change the amount of candy is dispensed) and I noticed that its parts are not as solid as I had expected. It’s definitely sturdy enough, but it lacks the weight of industrial/commercial candy dispensers for sure.Overall, a great little novelty/gift item.

Great gumball machine for the price compared to the old carousel machines.
Great machine quality, real glass, very sturdy, easy to adjust quantity settings and looks nostalgic. Base attaches using pipe thread so be careful not to cross thread. I used teflon tape tape on threads to help align the machine with the legs cause of my OCD lol I put M&Ms in it and picture shows a 2 pound bag (Prob holds 5 pounds) and lowest setting gives 3 M&Ms. Also takes pennies, dimes, nickels and quarters. Still gives 3 everytime. Used it to help with potty training with our 3 year old and worked great. She can get it out herself as a treat system. Easy to turn once used a few times and if you shake it nothing comes out. I tried haha THIS IS NOT a paid review or whatever those liars do for a living. I'm just a dude who values quality.
