I watched the video, prepped the vehicle, then installed the deflector. It looks nice, fit was very good. However, it's nearly invisible on my Explorer. I enclosed a photo for you to judge. I'll test it out this weekend. I've already had three rock hits in 3,000 miles. Hoping this will help reduce the damage.

Put on my 2024 Ford Explorer XLT. Nice flush mount using the applied 2-sided applique tape. Peel and stick. Flush mount nice because no debris, dirt or leaves can get in-between the deflector and hood paint.

Once the deflector was mounted I was unable to fully close the hood. The first latch would engage, but would not fully engage the latch to close the hood completely. Double checked the fasteners and deflector for proper alignment, everything seemed correct just unable to latch the hold completely.

Perfectly molded for the 2022 Explorer. Chrome looks amazing. Tedious to install but if you carefully follow the instructions and checkout the installation video, the outcome looks excellent. Measure twice, tape once!

Instructions were greatAssembly was difficult because one hole would not align.The screw assemblies were not adequate to bridge the gap of the deflect’s mounting slot. So part of lip is in slot. May lower durability rating.

I only gave it 1-3 stars star for several reasons.First, there was no tape included.Second, There was suppose to be six ‎Mechanical Fasteners and there was only five.Third, Was having a difficult time putting it on and the retainers on the Hood Seal (Front, Upper hood lip) kept breaking,Fourth, can't find contact for this to get my missing parts.

Installed in about 10 minutes. Used my trim puller and pulled the rubber from under the hood edge. Used the supplied pins and installed the bug deflector. Removed the pins on the rubber that were taken up by the deflector and reinstalled the rubber seal. Everything works good. It did add just a touch of wind noise going down the highway. The ones I have added to my F150s have all done the same thing. It redirectes the air up and it hits at the top of the window, but that is the intention of it.

Worked as stated. Easy to put on.

Very impressed. A perfect fit and it looks great! Took 5 mins total to install and love it!
