Probably my favorite tire
This is one of the best tires you can get in my opinion has great traction and really good for tubeless

Excellent front tire
Seller and shipping was all A+. Tried as a rear tire with a 2.6 3c front but I like the dual compound aggressor as a rear tire better. I think the dual compound aggressor 2.3 rolls much faster and has a better balance of traction and cornering. These dissectors roll fast also but I think it's a bit too much grip in the 3c version out back. This tire is best up front with either an aggressor or rekon out back. A friend of mine runs this tire out back and has complained about fast wear. The side knobs are not quite as supported as a minion so they get chewed up fast if you are an aggressive rider. I see this as an a excellent front tire for more aggressive trail riding paired with an aggressor out back. It's probably my favorite front tire but I prefer the 2.6 size. The 2.6 casing has significantly more volume than this 2.4 version.

Fairly light tire, good on loose, decent on clay mud
When it comes to tires, I like to think that there's always something better out there, hence the 4 star rating. However having tried the Maxxis Aggressor, High Rolller 2, DHF, DHR2, this is the best rear tire I've tried so far. It's fairly lightweight compared to the Minions, they have a good shape and spread of knobs to have decent climbing and braking traction, the side knobs hold just like the HR2, they seem to roll fast.Mud clearing is something many tires don't do well here in Hawaii. Our red clay mud is very sticky and tacky, but when it's not watery, it will stick like glue to just about every tire out there regardless of their design, to include mud-specific tires. However it's easy enough to clear excess with sticks you might find on the trail. The Aggressor by comparison is a terrible tire for our kind of mud, it won't clear any of it. The knobs are too close together and will attract more mud. It's also very slippery to use over wet roots and the Dissector seems to do a much better job going over and through wet roots with better traction.

Great rear tire, but fun on the front also!
Awesome rear tire for trail/enduro use, but you already knew that. More breaking traction than the Aggressor and it feels like it rolls and accelerates a little better too. I also liked running the Dissector yup front on my enduro rig to practice cornering. Whereas the DHF and Assegai have all that grip you want up front, they can sometimes make you lazy on cornering due to how much grip they have (especially the Assegai). Running the Dissector up front forces you to hone your cornering skills. It's not an XC tire at all---the side knobs are still plenty chunky---but it's much lighter than DHF. It rolls similar to a Bontrager XR4, but with significantly more braking traction and cornering bite.

Fast A.F.
I use it as a front in the upper Midwest. Fast and grippy enough. Super easy to put on tubeless.

Love these tires
Grips corners shockingly well for how fast it rolls. I run front and rear on my 145/160mm 29er. I have a minion DHF and DHRII with exo+ casing for the 1-2 times a year I rode more aggressive places. For my normal riding with ~1500 feet of pedaling/climbing for single track that’s moderately steep with moderate rocks and roots these tires are much better because of how much less work they require on flats/climbs and how surprisingly well they do going fast descending. I’ve tried schwalbe nobby buc/hans damps and reckons/Ikons but these are much tougher but not as draft as things like DHRII / DHF. I also tried aggressor 2.5” rear which I did not like in any situations.UPDATE I switched back to Minion DHF EXO+ front and Dissector EXO+ rear. For rougher terrain and a fox36 the DHF feels more appropriate than dissector in front. On mellower terrain or with fox34 I’d be running dissector front and rear.

Super Grip, slower than Rekon
Purchased 29x2.6 exo, 3c maxxterra, 60tpi. Tire not marked on side wall with "WT" next to size but on package is definitely a Wide Trail casing. Great tire with awesome cornering grip and rolls reasonable fast, not quite as fast as same size Rekon. Hooks up well here in FL on hardpack with thin layer of loose sand on top, even bites through thin layer of dead leaves on trail (aka brown ice).

Very good hardpack tire
Bought these for Spring and Summer use here in New England as drought conditions hit and I found that my Maxxis Minions getting too skittish on the hardpack conditions that developed. These are a very good tire for keeping speed on hardpack, but still having some bite on mixed conditions with light leaves, pine needles and loose over hard. Also a solid tire on wet rocks and roots. Can't speak to wear and durability yet, given the 2-3 months I used them, but liking them so far!

So good it feels like I’m cheating
I fitted this in 29x2.4 EXO MAXX TERRA flavour to replace an Ardant EXO in the same size. Despite being heavier and more aggressive it climbs better and rolls better. Once it gets rowdy though this tyre shines. Grip for days in corners on anything from dry Sandy trails to nice mid-autumn loam.
