Q: Are the measurement wrong on these shorts ? Jow could the waist be 13in? Is this for children?

I assume that's if you lay the shorts flat and measure the waist, instead of all the way around. Lots of companies measure like that, so 13" waist laying flat, meaning you double it for the "all the way around" measurement. That means 26" waist measurement.

Q: i wear a size 22 in pants/shorts which is normally a 3x should i stick with the 3x ?

Very thin wouldn't wear as a stand alone only under a dress. Would not buy again! 1 star review.

If you typically wear a 16-18 I would suggest a size 2 or 3x. I ordered a size XL because I wear a size 12-14 and I hate tight gym clothes. The number one reason I bought these shorts is they are all cotton. Cotton breathes, and phony material e.g. polyester does not. Have a good day. =-)
