This thing works great, opening the dishwasher you smell a lovely fragrance no matter if it is dirty or clean.

While the product instructions are not in English it's pretty self explanatory. I've had this in my dishwasher for a little over a week now and I don't have any funky odors with clean or dirty dishes. I really like this. I will be using this again!! Highly recommend.

Keeps the stale smell out of the dishwasher. Now I don't have to clear dishwasher every week. Nice fragrance.

It did remove that dishwasher smell, but the smell of this is very powerful so after a while I stopped using it, but it did cover up the original odor. It’s personal preference.

I just bought a portable countertop dishwasher with the " new chemical plastic" smell. I used this rinse aid hanging detergent. All it did was mixed the horrible _-new plastic smell with a "nauseating/headacheperfume smell. After researching, to get rid of that smell. (1)I placed a cup of vinegar and activated the long wash cycle (2)followed by another long wash cycle with baking soda sprinkled inside the dishwasher. (3), Then I placed a small amount of coffee grounds on a filter and let it sit in the dishwasher a couple of days. That will cure that smell. (4) I also bought a box of arm and hammer baking soda that you use for refrigerator/freezer smells - I place that in the dishwasher to absorb any smells between dishwashing. I just take the box out before starting and place it back inside the dishwasher when it is done!
